Poor Katy, she’s really the only one that couldn’t bounce back among her peers :rip:

Extremely rude to refer to these successful women as "hags". Some of you here have serious problems with ageism. I hope you are able to love yourself as you age.

Low key yeah lol the older popgirls are low key doing better than most of the newer ones too. It’s like they have a chokehold on the popgirl market and are not letting it go. Most popgirl careers back in the day lasted a solid decade only bar legends like Mariah, Janet, Madonna etc...but with the current mpg their able to compete stat wise with the newer girls too after like two decades of a career. It’s kind of shocking. Maybe ageism is slowly dying out and ppl are realizing the power of the MILF

Just in time for half of this site to jump ship and permanently delete themselves

Don't forget Janet selling out arenas with no new album and 14 years after her last hit.

And Kesha

There seems to be a bit of a nostalgia trend around digital era hits. I guess cos gen z were kids when these songs were big and they are rediscovering them rn. I'm so glad younger people seem to love Gaga it's really helped her recover from that low poijt in her career.

most of these women are in their early 30’s…y’all are wild

This. The world isn’t as ageist and pathetic as most ATRLers would have you believe with their entry level misogyny, It’s changing for the better.

Too many great female artists faded into obscurity because of ageism and im so glad that’s changing so we can see our queens doing new stuff into their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond.

They’re all 40+ :skull:

Only Rihanna is still young at 35 and Gaga at 36-37 idk.

OT Nicki is not our girl, no one claims her

I think this is partially a result from older audiences getting into streaming.

Taylor being called a hag and me realizing she’s not the teenager i grew up with anymore makes me feel old :rip:

Ageism found brutally murdered and stomped on by gen z, millennials, and gen x:bird:

And Kesha

Kesha hasn't even started to have a normal career again yet because she still has to fight against and defeat the music industry's most powerful abuser first.

yes and Kesha's emancipation is coming soon too :jonny:

She’s a Gen Z gay icon :sorry:

It’s not giving. I miss the days where we had multiple successful eras going on at once, like teenage dream and loud and even born this way.

Rihanna and Beyoncé continue to troll their fans. Beyoncé by holding the visuals hostage and Rihanna by releasing those mid garbage tracks and also holding R9 hostage which at this point is in the trash with the visuals and I’m navy so don’t come for me.

Bloody Mary is thanks to Jenna Ortega.

Mariah only pops up to annoy us to death with her Christmas anthem.

Madonna, i don’t what the **** is going on with her.

shakira? Didn’t realize she was still making music.

I hate Taylor but she’s the only one kind of killing it but she’s not even giving us full eras either.

it’s actually really rough out here for woman and when they do pop up it’s the same lame ones.

I been told y’all. The new girls are NOT interesting.

Well the seasoned veterans know what to do. These new girls have no artist developement and the industry isn’t investing in them so of course the seasoned will continue to SLAY as they should
