  1. Diesel is going to hit $7 by mid October in Michigan. Dr. Abdul is fine
  2. Defund the police was a winning campaign message insofar that every DSA elected and Dem progressive, hell even corporate Democrat, is tarred and feathered by the corporate media as "wanting to defund the police" and they still win… The policy never coming to fruition precisely because of liberal fealty to systemic racism is a different convo. Defund ICE is going to be walked back by several Dems as being too radical using the same excuses you've mentioned in this thread. Defund the police was once very popular in the immediate aftermath of George Floyd's murder (it even helped win Cori Bush her first successful primary while being CENTRAL to her campaign message). Corporate media and complacent liberals' strategy to defang the BLM movement out of service to preservation of the system ended up working and that's going to play out similarly for the rehabilitation of ICE and even Trump.
  3. Another split here is folks whose sole political goals are to have "Dems win elections" kinda partisan tribalism (no matter the kind of Dems that win) and folks who want sweeping policy change off the back of strong ideological change among the populace (which electoral politics often has to catch up with). It's a constant divide on these optics-centered arguments. Idk…
  4. Loll sure buddy. "Nuanced views" of not acknowledging material realities of the US's rampant militarism and mass death vs. Al Qaeda's tiny death toll… This is why political figures like Hasan are so important to combat ideologies that use "nuance, effectiveness, and pragmatism" as shields for historical whitewashing/revisionism in service to the US gov's own propaganda.
  5. "effective communication" is often used as a cudgel against leftwing politics especially by corporate media… (lest we forget the endless debate over the clear policy demand "defund the police" where liberals obsessed over sloganeering to hide the fact that they actually just supported increasing funding to cops) I triple listened to Hasan's clip here and that's about as good of effective communication you can get on using material reality to gauge the atrocities of the USA, in a time where this kind of political education is needed when he has the biggest audience yet and the US is literally fighting and (finally losing) another forever war. Hasan is not a politician, he's a streamer… he uses his platform for political education and mobilization. idk how yall continue to ignore that basic difference here.
  6. Folks with your political worldview using "electoral viability" to hide your own personal agreement with centrist liberal deadend politics were talking up and down about how Mamdani was "too leftwing and radical to win" and then we ended up winning suddenly it's like… "look at how Mamdani does it." Like… Dr. Abdul bested 70 million in AIPAC cash. He'll be fine here and no, these views are correct, and they should be repeated ad nauseum to make the next generation realize the horror that is US imperialism and our bloated terrorist military.
  7. Girl… The right wing will literally continue to run the same Islamophobic hit pieces against Abdul no matter what… the pearl clutching over this statement and others when the ads against him are already next levels of racist just seems a little far fetched, never mind that this ain't even Abdul saying it, but Hasan who is notoriously not running for office himself. I'm getting flashbacks to the whole Bernie shouldn't call himself a "socialist" discourse.
  8. I like how folks can't outright contest his CORRECT statement so they're quibbling over the optics of it by validating the so called concerns of… rightwing Amerikkkans. Deprogramming Americans is making them, especially the so called "liberals/progressives," learn and internalize this material reality. Yall are so concerned about "winning elections" when the uniparty candidates that'll get there in this so called "blue wave" will just end up reinforcing the status quo in this dictatorship of capital. Look no further than even the DSA newly electeds' decision to not challenge Hakeem AIPAC Shakur Jeffries as the next Speaker.
  9. It's better than brat. The songs are way catchier and better crafted oop
  10. And yet you took the time to respond rn… but if this is a promise from you to refrain from contributing useless liberal drivel to the discourse on here when the next color revolution propaganda starts I'll take it! Here's a relevant article to leave you here with https://theconversation.com/more-than-2-million-indigenous-people-lived-in-australia-in-1788-new-research-291278?utm_medium=article_clipboard_share&utm_source=theconversation.com And may there be violent aboriginal resistance against their illegitimate colonizer's government and the people upholding it in the decades to come.
  11. At this point there needs to be an entire tribunal to investigating the corruption and prosecuting them but we all know Dem 2028 including even AOC (sis can't even break against AIPAC Shakur) will not out of fealty to the system that enables Trump's corruption and the donors who prop it up. THE MOST CORRUPT PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY: A CORRUPT...I put every president since Eisenhower on the same scale as the men who looted their countries.
  12. Nah don't flatter yourself, someone liked some random post of mine from long ago in this thread and I saw yours and couldn't even give a big enough eyeroll. It's hilarious yet unsurprising how naive liberal sycophantic "nonviolence" folks like yourself go silent when the US wages full on destructive war with Iran when you have so much to say in the weeks before condemning armed resistance against the US and Nazirael. None of you users ever get hit with the "I told you so" about how flat out wrong you are on a host of issues months later but I felt like it today. Nevermind that even the most milquetoast forms of your beloved "nonviolent" means of protest are being systematically silenced as evidenced by the Macklemore saga and you have no contribution to the discourse around it, especially when you personally only ever harp on this topic to concern troll about "rising antisemitism" and "radical left." then the most blatant display of "countering antisemitism" results in the deplatforming of Macklemore and you're silent. It's blatantly obvious where you stand and how harmful your western chauvinistic thinking on a host of these topics is, and I'm glad that even within the West folks are radicalizing and rejecting the notions you foolishly hold so sacred.
  13. Can't allow for any Ukrainian voices against the gravy train to endless war speak I guess…
  14. Military TimesIranian strikes damaged hundreds of US military buildings...Iranian strikes have damaged hundreds of U.S. military and diplomatic buildings, as well as dozens of aircraft, a Pentagon watchdog said. Truly a victory for humanity that the Islamic Republic and IRGC were able to repel the Amerikkkans like this. This thread is a roller coaster but the Zionists have some military check on them and the US truly is a paper tiger.
  15. This is embarrassing even for him… Diesel almost at $7 let's goooo
  16. Welcome to the techno-fascist hellscape. Brought to you by the Zionist capitalist class
  17. Also the victims of US/Western imperialism have every ******* right to despise the populations in the imperial core for their lack of inaction while they in the global south engage in true movements of resistance to the US military and their proxies over the course of decades. To quote norm Finkelstein, "I wouldn't dare question my parents' undying hatred of Germans" and in a similar manner, USians need to actually sit with what their country has really done to this world. I'm just now finding out that We literally murdered 1 million Filipinos (and carpet bombed several of their villages) when we colonized that country after the Spanish American War, another blatant display of this country's deplorable history. Is the hatred misguided, sure? Is it entirely irrational, hell no. This whole "well not allll Germans, well not alll Japanese, well not allll Israelis, well not allll Southerners" argument is frankly an insult to the people who have legitimate grievances against the USA. Rest in the feelings of discomfort and use it to fuel your continued resistance to what this government and its supportive population continue to do abroad and at home.
  18. Nah you can't make blatant mischaracterizations and then say "let's not get into it." You are literally putting words in my and that users mouth because we refuse and truly don't care to get into the sympathy theater and trauma propaganda around 9/11 this horrific country and a good majority of its complicit complacent population get into every year. Literally No one is saying or implying what you're writing in bold, or the ridiculous irrelevant tangent you went on after. but because sooo many Americans (who can still claim to be against the actions of the gov/military/society supported and upheld by the Us populace) still can't actually truly put into scale one single day of death they had to face versus the MAGNITUDES GREATER amount of death and destruction the US imposes on the rest of the world (and its own marginalized populations lest we forget the US gov slaughtering Lakota natives en masse or Bombing black neighborhoods in Philly), anything other than an ostentatious pity parade is seen as saying the "US deserved it." then the audacity to analogize it to the victims of decades of genocide and ethnic cleansing. My guy, Americans ARE the settlers and imperialists who are going to be resisted against often in violent ways as a result of the blowback of the violence this country INITIATES. Just like the violence that Israel INITIATES. You cant decontextualize violence into some abstract notion of "all human life matters" when citizens in this country are all taxpayers and often participants in the far greater violence we export abroad. My heart doesn't ache for the American victims who number in the thousands as a result of their tacit complicity in the actions of their gov. It aches truly far greater for the millions of folks in the Middle East and global south who truly didn't ask for any of the US's bombs to fall on their houses, on their fishing boats, on their elementary schools… And this post goes towards @Tropez too. Miss me with the same False characterization. I can literally pull up a video of the wedding being bombed in Iran two weekends ago and the child who was bombed yesterday in a double tap strike in Gaza, not to mention the millions of more photos. Hold the American gov responsible rather than laundering their atrocity propaganda.
