unfortunately no. she'll fs earn a nomination and win a few awards in the dance and pop fields, but she is far too divisive to win aoty. not to mention grammys very rarely ever award dance pop in the general field

kylie by far the gayest, no question britney def has gay bops, but a lot of her music gives "white girl bops" similar to taylor or katy perry, sans the Blackout album and some other stuff like toxic, breathe on me, work madonna and gaga have the actual gayest moments tho, like songs that give bathhouse vibes and where you can tell they know all the **** us gays get up to. but they also strike a balance with making more mainstream level music or experimental (for a popstar) that's gonna appeal to more alternative/ off-center crowds

meh not really, all she did was give the album some convoluted title and slap a black and white cover to make it seem "artistic," but it was anything but that. it was yet another album of slop and her releasing that anthology to tack 30+ songs onto the record was yet another maneuver for chart success she's had moments where she's pushed herself artistically in the past, releasing an entirely self-written album, experimenting with folklore, etc but since the TVs and Eras tour its clear she wants to capitalize off the mania as much as possible

if its not clear by now, she cares much more about chart success/ numbers then making great music and being "interesting." if she really wanted to push herself artistically she would've, but she's such a corporation by this point that she all cares about is being #1 commercially

i can def see her getting an AOTY nom but she won't win it. won't be surprised however if she wins best Dance Pop Recording and best Dance/ Electronic Album BYL could also win best pop duo but i'm not sure who the other front runners are, so hard to say fs

a lot of the edgy critics/ bushwick gays ironically stanned at her first when she put out Diet Pepsi and Aquamarine bc everyone was expecting her to put out Katseye-level AI slop. i think subverting everyone's expectations got her lots of attention + Charli and Madonna basically co-signed her, and the ironic stanning became unironic. also add to the fact that she goes on stage in nothing but a bra and panties doing her whole dance recital routine, so ofc certain gays will automatically flock to that personally speaking, i found her album to be quite mid bar a few songs like Fame is a Gun and Headphones On. she feels more like a vessel and has no real artistic identity/ talent. but we'll see where her career goes

this sounds less like a gay thing and more specific to this friend group. trust me, there are plenty of hetero friend groups who act this same way but i'm like you, also introverted and neurodivergent, and have found that my sweet spot for hangouts is like five people max. preferably i do one-on-one hangouts because they're much more intimate and you actually get insight into someone's true personality. and as others in this thread have said, making friends as an adult has always been complicated and today's digital/ social media world has only furthered that. it takes time to find your tribe but when you do it'll have been worth the trouble
