She's thanking him for acknowledging the situation that everyone has been ignoring for years because people have become desensitized. Many people in other parts of the country don't even know whats happening because the situation is so under-reported. Imagine, people are being gunned down in churches regularly, and there is no type of justice or anything. That part of the country has been a hot spot for terrorism, and something needs to be done. Foreign intervention doesn't typically serve African countries well, so everyone is rightfully concerned by this, and the real motives. I'm just saying there's so much evil in the world, and some folks here seem to trivalize issues, and reduce it to "pro-trump" or "anti-trump". Im grateful to live in a country where you arent being killed for your religion-millions of people that dont enjoy the same privilege. Doja Cat isnt a threat, and hasnt been able to compete even. She makes similar music to how Nicki did then, but theyre still distinct. Nicki did a lot of pop heavy songs, but most of her career, shes been a rapper, and been featured as a rapper in other peoples songs. Doja isnt like Nicki in that sense. Tbh, its always better to be professional and handle things with grace. The foul exchanges don't make them look good.

Nicki being delusional isnt really news. She doubled down, and decided to marry kenny after the fact. There are so many family members that choose to remain in denial after the fact.. all cardi's songs dropped out of spotify just under a week after she dropped. i wouldnt say the album is doing "good". I feel like Nicki's did marginally better with no videos, and she dropped in christmas time. People taking cardi;s side is to be expected. Just look at the ATRL threads title on the subject, its "Nicki did this, and cardi just responded" . People have treated nicki like the villian for years now. When people have made up their mind to hate you, it doesnt really matter what the others do. People like cardi's personality, there's no really winning a beef with her. They will always give her grace they don't give other people. Plus the media always take cardi's side so...... It also doesn't help that nicki has a history of beefing with everyone.

Yes, i don't know why these people are acting like Nicki baited Cardi. Cardi has always been low and vile, people just choose not to see it because shes funnier and younger. Like she has literally called other peoples dead kid ugly. She isnt some innocent victim fighting against her bully. She has literally been throwing shots at everyone, atagonizing nicki, bragging shes going to outsell etc...but everyone pretends not to notice until nicki responds. Within the last week, she has made fun of other people's abortion, attacked nicki's child for being slow, said nicki has infertility problems, then talked about nicki's dad molesting her? Like atp who is going lower? Its still the same girl that sent people to beat up girls, and have been shown of tv assaulting girls. People want to talk about nicki being the worst, like how can you post a tweet of someone being abused as a "gotcha" regardless of if its true or not. What prompted the initial tweet was cardi alluding to the fact that her son has developmental delays, but its been glossed over because somehow that doesnt fit the narrative thats been set here. Both these people hate each other, and neither of them are morally right.

I mean, she is objectively the most popular and successful one. She set the bar high, meaning she took the female rap scene to heights that had never been reached before, and sustained a huge presence. It doesn't really matter what your opinions are about her talent - all these are facts. There was no girl that displayed the kind of versatility nicki had,-that was needed in that era. The closest we had was azeala, and she wasnt charismatic enough. Now we have Doja, she is good, but she is considered more of a popstar. You can frame her versaltility as "selling out" all you want. But her talent is what enabled her cross over to markets black female rappers never had access to. She doesnt need to be the best battle rapper or the best free-styler, what she had made her great and placed her miles above her peers. Thats Ice Spice's point- Nickis style of rap felt inaccessible because many of them weren't as talented. Cardi played a huge role and inspired other female rappers, I just disagree that cardi is the sole contributor to the explosion of female rap, and im refuting the point that nicki was stopping other people from succeeding. The change in the music scene to a trap-dominated one is what gave rise to the likes of cardi, city girls , sawettie, megan, latto etc. Cardi's branding set her apart from them and enabled her to get access to better producers early on.

Just because no girl could compare to Nicki, doesnt mean Nicki wanted to be the only one out or she was gatekeeping. Iggy literally got a number 1 before her, and there was nothing she could do about it. Nicki was the only one, and is still the only one to consistently sell multiple albums. Even her old mixtape re-release surpassed so many girls albums. Nicki was the only rapper to thrive in a pop-fueled music era, thats why she seemed like the "only one". She raised the bar yes, but that didnt mean that other people couldnt make those hip hop hits. However, the labels were only interested in investing in girls that could compete with nicki- and you can see how difficult it is. The trap era and streaming era has made it easy for rap girls to emerge, because we would never have had this explosion in the "lady gaga" era. If the labels insisted on investing in girls that could compete with cardi, do you think female rap would look like this?

Please you were never a jay-z hater. It's so odd that the beyhive are defending him because they want to protect Beyonce. People have normalized bashing women for the actions of their husbands for a long time. It was fine when it was nicki but now its bey, folks are willing to turn a blind eye to jay-z's actions.
