agree with the Virgine take, it's sad considering Jennie's potential. I see her being more involved in the designing/creative process of collections, even her own, if given the chance, which might happen more easily with smaller brands

Korea is a lucrative market when it comes to the luxury goods and kpop has a broad reach so kpop idols are a good partners for the brands 

 

and it’s also a good deal for the artists as it does them good pr, more opportunities at making connections, brings money and of course they don’t need to worry about wardrobe

as if BTS didn’t release a collection of their older songs, plastered two new songs with a weak title on it and called it an album just last year

be for real, that was an anthropology album and it makes sense that they will release an anthropology album since they've already reach almost 10 years in the industry and released many albums

also can Jennie make her comeback after jisoo? she's the only one who only got a single song and her potential as a solo artist were really wasted in Korea since solo was such a smash hit...

Also, it was a cost-saving measure. K-pop started doing it so labels could save on money by having fashion houses pay for the looks (which were ultimately advertisements).

I was under the impression Jisoo is also releasing a single song because of the poster but maybe I was wrong. Have they not announced it yet?

 

 

Besides, Blinks always invade this thread with their delusions. Jennie has the only listenable song from their solos. All the other girls released absolute disappointments.

Rosé solo literally killed her hype.

Lisa solos were outright offensive and it doesn't matter if Money managed to latch onto Squid Game virality, its still a parody of what a Lisa solo song was expected to sound like.

 

We will see if Jisoo actually step up the game or release a boring ballad

BTS early albums are also embarrassingly bad, especially the 2 Cool 4 Skool one, I couldn't even finish it (That title should've been the first red flag)
