There's some misinformation here tbh. I wouldnt say her whole team didn't believe in toxic. The jive boss didn't believe in Toxic, but he came around because everyone they sent it to said it was a smash. There's actually a big podcast where her former A&R discusses this. And with piece of me, it was again her team who sent her to work on POM
