The X factor that made SM artists unique is gone, Kwangya and SMCU alienated many of the fans 

 

Between NCT, Aespa, and the super groups it’s clear that this label is creatively bankrupt and needs a complete revamp. Maybe HYBE’s acquisition is a good thing

Yeah. I’d argue that only V and Jungkook have the potential to reach Eunwoo’s level as a solo brand, removed from BTS for good. BigHit spent so long refusing to market BTS individually, it was always one singular unit, that they’re only now playing catch up in creating individual brands (ie: all the endless brand deals and solo endeavours in the pipeline)

The only good thing Chris Lee did was trying to oust Lee Soo Man. He was behind those limitless members concept, and many other dumb things. He embezzled in SM funds and put it in his own company aka Like Planning. This affected investors, employees and artists. SM employees fled to other companies in the past 3-4 years. Now, he pathetically try to sue and block Kakao deal by considering shaking hands with HYBE, something he said he would not do in the past, to let him be the 2nd biggest shareholder and still can control SM.

 

Living through SM 2nd gen to now is just sad, they need to get rid of that old man or he will continue to be the parasite.
