they need to go back go the titanium frame, the aluminum frame on the 17 pros feel so cheap. this phone used to feel so premium with the past frames

been having my 17 pro max for over a week now, the camera improvements from the 14 pro max is insane! photo and video quality is finally good again, they definitely perfected it again.

for me personally, i felt like the 12/13 pro max had their cameras systems perfected, then something happened with the 14, where the photos looked a bit off idk

After careful consideration (not really), I'm finally upgrading to MacOS Tahoe.

I ordered the 17 Pro Max in Silver but it's on backorder until November 13. :rip:

Only the silver Pros look sleek and are just like the MacBook's aluminum body, unlike the orange/blue that look like fisher price products. These don't feel that much cheaper to me with the way people are complaining about it, although it scratches easier. I think the unibody design is what makes people think that because we're used to the all frosted glass in the back and this one has a seamless curvature that wraps around, which feel more comfortable to hold caseless tbh. The titanium used the in the 15/16 Pros were literally just the outer rim while the interior was aluminum, if anything the last 3 iPhones feel cheap compared to the stainless steel 13/14 Pros. :emofish:

I finally got my iPhone 17 (green color :heart2:). My first iPhone in over 10 years :chick2:  I like the Liquid Glass look and it's super fast. Love it!

Is it worth it to have a screen protector on your camera bump

Just upgraded to iphone 16 pro from my 5 years old iphone 11 pro :heart2:

the iPhone 17 Pro Max is big enough for split screen'd apps, don't know why they haven't added this feature

I need to buy a tablet for studying, note keeping, archives (and for entertainment like series/youtube/light gaming etc but studying is the main reason). The university representative will give me a quote on what I choose but it has to be an iPad.

So would you go for standard, air or Pro, and why?

The standard and Air are very similar these days. The main difference being that the Air has a better screen. It's laminated which means that it sits closer to the glass. Apple has made the Apple Pencil situation really confusing lately, but it seems like the standard iPad only uses the kind of pencil you charge by plugging into the port on the iPad. While the Air and Pro have a magnetically charging pencil. That's what I have for my M1 Air (and the Air 4 before it) and I feel like it's a much better way of doing things. Personally I'm an Air enthusiast, as you get more bang for your buck. The Pro is really for those who want the absolute best tech and don't mind paying for it. From the sound of it, it would be overkill for your needs

I've been thinking of getting a Mac mini pro so I can play City Skylines…

This means I might give up my MacBook Air for store credit and use that to get the Mac mini pro. I'm also considering doing the same with my iPad Air 4M 11" to get the iPad Air 5M 13".

I am in the market for a new laptop so I am eyeing the MacBook Air M5 '15-inch.
