I work as a nurse and have experienced this too (in Germany). Not directed at me, but at my colleagues. Fortunately, I have a very good employer who doesn't tolerate racism or homophobia and management makes it clear to patients that racism will not be tolerated.

I'm 32 and I like their music, lol. I don't know if it's because of this site or because most people here are from America and Americans just have a different music taste, but I often notice that people on this site have a problem with K-pop and in general music from outside the U.S. I think a lot of people here take pop music too seriously sometimes and this site is often just out of touch with current trends. Music doesn't always have to be serious. Music can also just be fun, meaningless and chaotic. I think a lot of pop artists from the U.S. take themselves too seriously, which often makes their music boring.

He's right. Some gay men are very homophobic. I find it annoying how some gay men try to act like straight guys and are ashamed of being part of the LGBT+ community. It just comes across as forced. Sure, not all of us are feminine or want to be feminine or like it, and that's okay. We're all different, and that's a good thing, but this forced masculinity is just cringe.

Both songs are great but "Bist du noch da?" is my fave. Beautiful song!

I don't like her anymore because of her politics but these two songs are bops! Her best material in a long time.

I've listened to "Hot Sauce" for the first time and I like it I love songs with that kind of summer vibe.

"Danceteria" is the hit of the album! It really should have been the lead single. I hope they release a MV for the song.

"Read My Lips" is so underrated. I love the summer vibes of that song! Good for the Soul is also really good. My favorite song, though, is "Love Without Words". What a bop!

It's definitely her best album since COAD So far, I love One Step Away, Good For The Soul, School and Bizarre!

No, that's nonsense. I'm sick of hearing that you can't find a relationship in our community. It's not true. There are more than enough men who want a committed, monogamous relationship and marriage. But you also have to be proactive and take the initiative. I think one problem these days is that a lot of people have poor social skills or are too shy. If you really want a relationship, you'll find one.

That's so cool! I don't know if it's true, but I've heard that they'll host the contest if they win. Timezone wise, it would actually work out, unlike with Australia.

No, I don't like the clutter that physical media brings. What I like about digital media is that everything is online and organized. This gives me more space in my apartment and when I move, I don't have to worry about so many things. I haven't bought physical media in ages. I'm also not worried that things will disappear. It's extremely unlikely. The only situation I can remember is Namie Amuro's catalog. But Japan has always been a bit conservative when it comes to streaming. Other than that, I can't remember a single instance in the last 10+ years where something has disappeared.

I don't understand people who are against inviting countries to the Eurovision Song Contest. Members of the EBU participate in the ESC. It's not a purely European contest. And honestly? Without countries like Australia and certain others, the contest would not only be smaller but also more boring. A show that kicks countries out because they aren't 100% European but then promotes itself as diverse would be pretty ironic. There's enough room for all countries. You can invite countries like Hungary, Slovakia, and others without kicking Australia and others out. I'm looking forward to Canada participating soon.

It's really hot here in Germany, too. I can't stand it anymore. It's over 30 degrees every day. I sweat the whole workday through.

I've had male, heterosexual friends in the past. It was okay, but I definitely feel a deeper connection to women and their cultures than to men. I have a hard time trusting men. I also find myself thinking that most of them are homophobic. I know that's probably not true, but it's just a prejudice I have and it's very strong. I've never had any problems with women, and I've even been able to get along with homophobic women. The current shift to the right, which is particularly strong among men, doesn't help either. There are many good men, and these days you see more and more men openly supporting LGBT+ rights and sometimes even engaging with LGBT+ culture. Maybe one day things will change and I'll be able to trust men more.
