The new Mac mini is such a killer value at $499. And we get 16GB ram this time. 
 

It looks easier to carry around than a MacBook. 

I got an Apple TV 4K after switching for Roku and it is the best investment I have made.

Good thing I didn't know the waitlist was a thing until hours after updating took me only 10-15 mins.

The M4 iMacs, for some reason, don't give the option to purchase both Magic Mouse & Trackpad. I'm not a fan of the MM, but the only way to get matching accessories is when you initially order.  

 

Oh well, my M1 iMac is still going strong with no issues.  

I need to update my iMac and my iPhone

I bought an entry level M1 back in 2021 after I was lowkey obligated to sell my original iMac but I'm doing a few things that require the upgrade at this point. about the iPhonne, I need a new one and I like this year's Pro.

I'm thinking to buy Mac mini M4 and I don't even need it lol

 

My current set up Yay! 

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with my 16 Pro. Plenty of apps I use completely freeze every now and then, so I have to force close them. My Spotify randomly stops playing music and I have to enter the app the play it again. And don't even get me started on camera and the new button… I have to wait couple of seconds before being able to take a pic

 

I've had 12 Pro Max for 3 and half years, and the screen didn't have a single scratch despite being through hell and back. My 16 Pro already has two tiny scratches and I'm not even sure how  

 

Apple needs to get their **** together.

Anyone else experience some touch sensitivity issue on 16 pro max?

 

Typing is quite a chore and requires more effort than all my old android phones lol

 

Not sure if hardware or software issue

I've been trying to get instagiffer to open up on my MacBook Pro and this is what shows up.

 

I heard that it's something with the new update but idk how to work around it

Right click the application and then click "open." The pop should then let prompt you to open it rather than just move to trash. Only do this if you're sure it is legit though!

I've already tried that and it just gives me the "The application "Finder" does not have permission to open "(null)."

 

And it still says the same thing after I've changed the permissions.

Apple's most underrated product imo. After years of dealing with Fire Sticks (and all of Amazon's bloat ware), I switched to an Apple TV 4K last year, and I don't think I could ever go back. It's a shame Apple doesn't promote it more (or better yet, discount it more often).

Just bought an Apple Watch Ultra 2 for Christmas while they were on sale. I was originally looking at the Series 10, but once I configured it the way I wanted (GPS+Cellular, Titanium), the price ended up being almost the same as the Ultra 2, so I sprung for that. My SE (original) can't even make it through the day, so it was time for an upgrade.

just got my very demure very cutesy ipad mini (2024) for black friday and now waiting for my apple pencil pro and airtag to arrive

upgraded to iPhone 15 pro and it's been a HUGE upgrade from 13 mini. shocking I wasn't expecting that.

 

anyways the iPhone mirroring is the best feature I've seen in a long time. I love working on Mac and I can use iPhone whenever I want. I would be good to mirror two iPhones together.

My 2015 MacBook just died last week. For some reason it wouldn't turn on.

 

The Genius Bar at my nearby Apple Store told me that the hard drive was warped, and that there was no way to salvage it. According to them, I had no choice but to purchase a new MacBook, which would be the 2024 model.

 

I asked the Genius Bar how my hard drive could die so suddenly. They told me that MacBooks only last 10 years and hard drives begin to fail after and years and years of constant usage.

 

Do MacBooks really last 10 years?

So, I guess I might upgrade to the iPhone 16 Pro Max from a 14 Pro Max. I switched to Spectrum Mobile, they technically use the same towers from Verizon so it's a win win and I save $200 dollars. The connection surprisingly is better than Verizon.

 

The tariffs thing is encouraging me to upgrade and the new features are good for my photographic self.

basically chatgpt is part of siri now, you can use it for writing and generating images and searching the internet etc

same here.

my current laptop is about to die and I need a new one. I'm thinking of getting a macbook because I already own an iPhone and an iPad. I've read the new MacBook Air is getting announced in March so I'll just wait. I assume M3/M2 versions will drop their price, right?
