I agree with all of this. I'm long past my stan days with her, but it's irritating to see people on Twitter say something to the effect of, "…stop intellectualizing her behavior… it doesn't justify her actions…". As far as I know, it's not about moralizing her behavior (especially in an absolutist manner) but making sense of why she acts the way she does. Acknowledging her traumatic experiences doesn't justify what she's done and will continue to do, but it's necessary context. The drugs + questionable partner + wicked behavior are all symptoms of issues that have longgggg developed since her childhood. (And like you said, issues that she hasn't gotten help with)
