Her superbowl was the most technologically charged show then. She changed its course for the following females afterwards. Its still stunning to watch. Except Mia scandal, it was wonderfully crafted. Guests welcomed and she wanted to collaborate with. That was her vision. Let it be. I don't complain.

BTW im bopping to one of my all time favorite remixes from madonna catalogue today.

It still sounds amazing and very dancey. I couldnt stop dancing to it 26 years ago then and still can't.

Yes she did what she was at the time. the reason why she is able to have now in 2026 a album that reasonates so much with her fanbase is because she never did the 80s revival people wanted

That's true. I'm hoping she could still win something in the minor categories! An AOTY nom would be a great validation, I think, regardless of winning. The fact that she only had 1 nom in that category for ROL is insane. Looking at the nominees/winners for 2007 when COADF 1 came out, none of these albums have had the impact it had.
