  1. SAVE Betrayal Love Without Words OFF Good for the Soul Love Sensation
  2. She sat down with the president of Warner Records and said 'I wanna make history' - and that's what this is.
  3. She's cementing her status as the GOAT . With Like a Prayer (80s), Ray of Light (90s), Confessions I (00s), and now Confessions II (20s), she has universally-acclaimed landmark albums in four different decades, no one is touching her.
  4. It's getting weird, time to bring back the Born Brave Bus. OT: Madonna in 2026 = Queen Of Pop, critically acclaimed, #1 album, four Top 40 songs in the U.K., historic 65th Top 10 hit with Kylie, most nominated artist at the VMAs, skinny, serving fetus. Madonna haters in 2026 =
  5. SAVE Bizarre Everything My Sins Are My Saviour OFF Good For The Soul Love Sensation One Step Away
  6. Solid list, only legends allowed
  7. Most iconic: Material Girl Best: Birds Of A Feather
  8. The album is still selling. She's a legacy act who relies primarily on physical sales rather than streaming and that's painfully obvious to anyone except Little Monsters playing dumb. OT: It's pretty transparent that only Lady Gaga fans are determined to deny this album's success. Is still being traumatized by the "reductive" comment really a valid excuse after 14 years? Anyway, just to entertain the deranged OP: CONFESSIONS II outsold that Cher album in its first month. CONFESSIONS II debuted at #1 in 17 countries, unlike Elton John's album which peaked at #10 despite being carried by "Cold Heart" with Dua Lipa. CONFESSIONS II is universally acclaimed by critics, unlike that Gaga jazz record and the albums mentioned in the OP. Madonna won, cope xx.

  11. Oh, birdbrainforlife Fad has more Grammys than Michael Jackson (13), The Beatles (8), Prince (7), David Bowie (6), Whitney (6), Mariah (5), Janet (5), Shania (5), Cher (2), even ABBA (0) - yet she isn't remotely as influential. Funny you single out Madonna when she's actually the most awarded woman in that list, controversy and all. Winning a Grammy was tougher before poptimism. Some categories didn't even exist (Best Pop Album only began in 1995, Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2005, to name a few), and an older voting bloc often ignored youth-driven genres. Your fave isn't particularly special, she simply benefited from a path other women paved. You're welcome. That being said, of course we want CONFESSIONS II to win. The Grammys might be a glorified popularity contest but in an era when **** like "Abracadabra" can take home trophies, quality dance music also deserves recognition.
  12. No one is losing sleep over Lady Gaga. She can't even make the Top 60 best-selling artists of all time, trailing behind the likes of Ed Sheeran, BTS and Justin Bieber. She's not in the legends conversation, and she'd need about 20 MAYHEM-sized eras just to crack the Top 10. At the end of the day, you can smash your keyboard all you want and type meaningless achievements in bright red, but your fave will only ever be a footnote in music history, while Madonna will always be, well, Madonna. You don't compete where you don't compare.
  13. Imagine being a not-so-little Monster shading this critically-acclaimed #1 album from a pop legend, while everyone else praises it to high heavens What a miserable existence. The fact that you waited a whole month to post this thread because she defied expectations and didn't fall off the Top 200 in Week 2 like other legacy acts You're in for a rude awakening if you genuinely believe your fave will outperform Madonna in her 60s.
