More iconic VMA performance: Britney's 2001 vs Gaga's 2009?
Everybody remembers that image of Britney with the snake. Only Little Monsters recall Gaga's performance and it wasn't even the most memorable moment of that night.

Miley drops 18 places on Spotify Global artist chart. Shocked?
Oh well, she can always find solace in being a talented, multiple-time GRAMMY winner - which is difficult to get, not everybody has that to their credit!.

Here For It All vs Rebel Heart
- Madonna never fully experimented with a more rock sound. Why?
I don't think she's that into rock music. She actually addressed this directly during her 2013 Reddit AMA And back in the 90s she said she preferred Motown girl groups over The Beatles. The closest she got to a rock project was her pre-fame demos with Emmy and The Breakfast Club, along with the American Life remixes on the Remixed & Revisited EP.- Madonna - CONFESSIONS II - The Album Survivor - Round 9 (pg. 26)
SAVE Love Without Words School OFF Love Sensation One Step Away- Forbes: Madonna may be headed for her biggest Grammy night ever
CONFESSIONS II Seems Like a Strong Dance Contender Confessions II will almost certainly compete in the Best Dance/Electronic Album field. That arena is special for Madonna, as the original Confessions on a Dance Floor won the same Grammy in 2007. Madonna may even find her way back to the all-important Album of the Year category with Confessions II. Such a nomination might have seemed unlikely before the full-length arrived, but critics have called the set some of her best work in a long, long time, and there may be a desire to recognize the singer's longevity and overall career with another one of these nods. Several tunes featured on Confessions II could compete in different categories as well as the full-length. "Bring Your Love" with Sabrina Carpenter, one of the biggest singles from the project, may bring the two women to the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance area. Any of the tracks where Madonna is the only credited performer could theoretically compete for Best Pop Solo Performance, though many will likely be classified in the dance/electronic fields instead. There are several possible homes in that space, including Best Dance/Electronic Recording and Best Dance Pop Recording, one of the newer honors introduced by the Recording Academy. Among the likeliest contenders from Confessions II are singles "I Feel So Free," "Love Sensation" and "Danceteria." Exactly where they could compete – and which ones will earn some love – will depend on what Madonna and her team submit and how the Recording Academy ultimately categorizes the material. It's getting weird, time to bring back the Born Brave Bus. Solid list, only legends allowed- Which pop girl has the most iconic #2 hit?
- Is "being old" a valid excuse for Madonna?
The album is still selling. She's a legacy act who relies primarily on physical sales rather than streaming and that's painfully obvious to anyone except Little Monsters playing dumb. OT: It's pretty transparent that only Lady Gaga fans are determined to deny this album's success. Is still being traumatized by the "reductive" comment really a valid excuse after 14 years? Anyway, just to entertain the deranged OP: CONFESSIONS II outsold that Cher album in its first month. CONFESSIONS II debuted at #1 in 17 countries, unlike Elton John's album which peaked at #10 despite being carried by "Cold Heart" with Dua Lipa. CONFESSIONS II is universally acclaimed by critics, unlike that Gaga jazz record and the albums mentioned in the OP. Madonna won, cope xx.- In honor of William Orbit production, what are your favorite tracks?

Oh, birdbrainforlife Fad has more Grammys than Michael Jackson (13), The Beatles (8), Prince (7), David Bowie (6), Whitney (6), Mariah (5), Janet (5), Shania (5), Cher (2), even ABBA (0) - yet she isn't remotely as influential. Funny you single out Madonna when she's actually the most awarded woman in that list, controversy and all. Winning a Grammy was tougher before poptimism. Some categories didn't even exist (Best Pop Album only began in 1995, Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2005, to name a few), and an older voting bloc often ignored youth-driven genres. Your fave isn't particularly special, she simply benefited from a path other women paved. You're welcome. That being said, of course we want CONFESSIONS II to win. The Grammys might be a glorified popularity contest but in an era when **** like "Abracadabra" can take home trophies, quality dance music also deserves recognition.- What happened? Confessions II drops to #112 on BB 200 and #3 on Dance Albums
No one is losing sleep over Lady Gaga. She can't even make the Top 60 best-selling artists of all time, trailing behind the likes of Ed Sheeran, BTS and Justin Bieber. She's not in the legends conversation, and she'd need about 20 MAYHEM-sized eras just to crack the Top 10. At the end of the day, you can smash your keyboard all you want and type meaningless achievements in bright red, but your fave will only ever be a footnote in music history, while Madonna will always be, well, Madonna. You don't compete where you don't compare. - Madonna never fully experimented with a more rock sound. Why?
