did we read the same article? they mentioned getting married during her world tour and Michael mentioned her "not having to compartmentalize 'Lady Gaga'" when having a family. i see this as them figuring out how to have a family without letting it get in the way of her career.

The ending left me a bit confused, though. Her laughing about not being Lady Gaga forever? I might be over-thinking it and of course she's gonna retire at some point but the oscilleation between "I'm just getting started" and "I'm not going to be Lady Gaga forvever" is a bit confusing.

It means she isn't gonna be full on Lady Gaga all the time even when she is private.

She used to put on the Lady Gaga persona even when she was private, because being Lady Gaga is easier than being Stefani, when she is Lady Gaga she is famous and loved by fans, but she was all alone when she was Stefani (see 5Ft2).

Now that she has actual private life with Michael, she doesn't feel insecure being Stefani again, she is comfortable being herself and she is gonna be that way. It doesn't mean she won't be Lady Gaga when she creates her art.

Now that she is in her creative zone again, I wonder what film project she would pick with these whole new perspectives. The last three films all got picked when she was in her unwell phase. Now that she learned her lessons, I hope she knows how to pick a proper project again.

Random thought but the suspicious timing of this restrospective interview definitely gives the vibe that new material is coming, especially because the interview is not solely about the tour. It wouldn't make sense to drop an interview like this at the tail end of an era so me thinks Mayhem is getting extended somehow.

Its for the Grammys campaign. They had it locked and ready and released it right after the nom announcement  

If Total Mayhem exists I feel like it will be just 2-3 new songs around the 1 year anniversary and that's it. A whole new album/extension + new single push sounds too much like stan's wet dream.

I do think she will promote the last single or a new one at the Grammys. Releasing one during voting would make sense.

this is me hopedicting but i'd like to think with how fufilled she seems, she can start a family and continue her career at the same time. 9 months is a long time!

Hmm this gay at this house party I was at was streaming her MAYHEM album press conference (💀) and when she answered the question about Telephone it sounded like something she needs to make happen
