The picture with Taylor is fake. She didn't interact neither with Taylor or Billie and they're literally close to each other. There a 3 minutes video of them during guess and they didn't even aknowledge each other. Same thing happened between taylor and miley

There are paparazzis taking photos at every interaction between celebrities because they sell it. There's also public recording from their angle

they def interact mostly during their intermissions (our commercial breaks). 

 

and events like grammys and met gala, i usually see most pics/interactions are at the after parties.

Chromatica had a self-imposed narrative as a "return to form". But in retrospect, Gaga was exploring new grounds in dance music. But this time it feels different because she has never been as overtly self-referential as in Abracadabra. Now I believe that she's being quite literal about stitching the broken pieces of her past. The Disease video, the countdown with her albums and her tease on Spotify were hints of it.

 

Personally, I think Pitchfork is spot-on. Her approach is exciting but risky, and from the looks of it MAYHEM is becoming more ambitious in its concept. Usually, pop artists return to their past sounds quietly and seemingly organically. But Gaga is facing the challenge head-on.

No Taylor interaction is kind of sad after Taylor stood up for her in 2024.

Does anyone know what months she filmed the videos for Disease & Abra?

I know I said the last minute of Disease was a top 5 discography highlight but I fear the Abra bridge might have topped it

 

those operatic vocals over the squelchy acid bass

 

 

Abracadabra is already a 10/10 song but whew, the video just elevates it to even higher heights. I'm so glad she dropped both at the same time.

Disease was filmed in October and, if I remember correctly, was edited in just two weeks.

 

 

As for Abracadabra, it was apparently filmed on December 14th.

Disease was the weekend of October 4th I think (same week as Joker premiered, it was smart to do that weekend instead of reading the reviews ). Abracadabra was sometime in January based on that LA Times article iirc.
