The 90s sound with europop vibes takes me back to some of Chromatica, while the song structure and lyrics are more reminiscent of Artpop ala Venus/Aura, with some artpop (song) and Donatella sprinkled here and there.

Yeah this song really feels like a climax of her career. The video actually also references the movie climax, which is probably just a coincidence but I found it funny.

No shade to that reviewer, and recency bias is a *****, but Abracadabra sits comfortably in the presence of Bad Romance and her other pop masterpieces. This song (and video) is just that good and I'd argue that those that aren't too into it are going to get into it sooner rather than later.
