Definitivamente no estará en las listas en este momento, ya que las transmisiones han caído mucho y no hay promoción activa para el sencillo. Tiene una oportunidad después de enero SI envían esto a la radio y al streaming o si se vuelve megaviral.

También tiene una oportunidad en febrero cuando se lanza el álbum y todo el álbum se transmite mucho. Esperemos que haya alguna promoción importante ese mes para garantizar una alta visibilidad.

Mature is definitely not an official single, but rather a promotional single. It wasn't sent to radio and didn't even have a promo performance, not even on Instagram.
It seems like a risky move to me because, although it helps to get her name out there again, it kind of kills some of the hype. I don't know if this is still done nowadays — it used to happen a lot; in fact, we saw it with Play With Fire

Same, loved hearing her reflect on BIBO and that era, even if it was just for a minute. Hope we get more of this type of insight in the docuseries (doesn't have to be too in depth, but at least a few minutes spent on each era would be cool).

I do kind of feel bad that she seems to look back on going and recording in Sweden as a negative. She's mentioned it now a couple times (on the podcast, here, and in the Vogue interview). I don't know, maybe it's just because Tove Lo is another one of my favs, and I still find it so cool that the two of them worked together (and made one of the best pop songs ever in 'One in a Million'). But I can get why she looks back on that time less fondly. Just hope that doesn't mean she'd never be open to working with Tove again

Didn't she go to Gaby's friendsgiving this year? No photos of her there yet. 

Does anyone else immediately cry when they listen to or watch "I Can't Wait"? She's good at making songs feel like the end of a chapter. I hope she gets to perform this.

I think it's because she definitely seemed more into the "Chasing the Sun" and "All About You" sound from This Heart, and then RCA stepped in, etc., and sent her to work with certain writers.

I thought it a chance of charting with the album pre order but the buzz around it is dying 

 

still think she had a better chance if her team would have dropped a 7in vinyl 

 

I assume her team is moving on I expect a new single will launch in January

Alex Cooper is a terrible interviewer lol but it would get people to talk about her. Lots of viral worthy moments could happen. Idk just someone more mainstream than that therapist guy. To reach an audience outside of gay community

Yes Hot Ones would be great. I would also love to see her on the Las Culturistas podcast.

Yup yup yup @ hot ones and las culturistas. Hope she books both of them but I think these kind of big press junket will happen more around the weeks leading up to the album release.

At first I thought it was about a random guy she dated between Joel and Mike (the same guy from Danger), but when she said somewhere that it had happen 15 years ago (she doesn't even remember when it happened, because 15 years ago she married Mike), then I convinced myself that Mature is about Jason Walsh.

 

Also I remember when Sparks came out, she did a radio interview and was asked about the kind of man she was looking for after her divorce and she said that she seemed to attract old guys, so maybe it's about Jason or someone else, because she keeps refering to it as a "brief romance"

Oh Las Culturistas would be a major slay because they seem to love her first of all, and because they'll actually make her talk / praise her contribution to pop.

I also prefer the first half of the album, and honestly I don't understand all the criticism directed at RCA for it. I feel like they tried to save the era by shifting direction having her work with talented producers and strong tracks like Sparks, Breathe In. Breathe Out., One in a Million, Lies, etc.

 

Her comeback plan was disastrous. After a seven-year hiatus, returning with a non-trendy sound requires a carefully thought-out strategy and much more effort than simply riding a current trend. That means choosing a strong lead single (definitely not Chasing the Sun ), investing heavily in promotion, visiting radio stations to sell the new sound, staying active on social media, paying for iTunes banners (not random planes flying with your name on them), etc.

 

I do blame RCA for not really pushing Sparks, but by that point it felt like they had already lost faith in the era.

If believe if Chasing the Sun had even moderate success, they wouldn't have taken that approach.

Exactly, and they for sure will know all the ins and outs of her career, including all the stats.

So it would be very interesting to hear them talking about, and asking questions, in depth about her albums.

At first I thought it was about Jason Walsh as well. Then I saw the Ryan Seacrest interview where she didn't deny that the song is about Leo + seeing @TheseThingsHappen's post makes me think it could be about Leo. 

 

She's dated so many older guys that we know about and some that we don't know about so the song could just be about the collective experience that she's had with all of them. However, there's a lot of specific details in the song that lead to one person.

I don't really know much about podcast, but she said she felt comfortable doing the Jake Shane one, and I also remember her being really open doing the one with Josh Peck in it and the Whitney Cummings one a few years ago was the best, so I just want to get all the juicy details and just interviews that we can really look back at after a while and enjoy because we didn't got many of those when BI.BO was released.

 

Edit: And please someone ask her about Pretty Ugly (I bet she's pretty happy about that too)

Yup!!! I really need someone to ask her about Pretty Ugly in one of these interviews. Maybe her team said interviewers to focus 100% on music at this moment? Idk. The lack of news is not that great imo tho.

I wouldn't worry too much about it at this stage. I know a lot of us expected it to begin filming early next year, but I guess it's possible that when Variety announced it, it had just gone into development as the only information we were provided was the show premise, producers, and starring lead. I think worst case scenario is that it won't begin filming until late August/September next year with its premiere date in the first half of 2027.
