Miley is such a unique case in the popsphere. She has this Cher-like career trajectory where she's experienced massive success in multiple avenues of the industry, and her name will always hold weight no matter how sporadic her commercial success is. Cause when Miley gets a smash, she SMASHES. Most artists would be considered a total non-factor if they consistently pulled these numbers but Miley will literally always be relevant. Hopefully this album plays out like Plastic Hearts where the majority of its success came throughout the years due to word of mouth and streaming.

Why all the backlash over multiple ballads? Angels Like You, More To Lose, Give Me Love, Golden G String, Never Be Me, Beautiful That Way, and Wrecking Ball are all excellent and that's just from post-Hollywood Records albums
