Could a kind soul please record the audio and upload it somewhere?

At this point, I think the show is likely to begin filming in the fall of 2026. I'm suspecting a USA arena or theater tour to happen over the first half of the summer, then she'll take a months break to recoup and ready herself for Pretty Ugly, which will film from September through to mid December 2026, and officially ending the luck...or something era in the first half of 2027 with an international tour.

1. Technically it's been nearly 18 years since she's done an arena concert or any form of concert in general. The demand is insane - nobody could have predicted it! 2. I don't think this is the case at all. She has meticulously planned out this new music era to work around Pretty Ugly. Whatever kind of larger tour she announces to support the album has been booked for months/well before the show was announced back in August.

You've got this! If worse comes to worse and you miss out, just remember she said there will be plenty more live moments coming in 2026.

I'm feeling confident that she will release another album by the end of the decade. Now that we know she's got full creative control over her music, I think she will stay inspired to keep making new material after this era in between her acting career.

Hilary Duff Announces Las Vegas Residency

I was reading the press junkets for the Vegas announcement yesterday and these 3 new shows have been labelled as extensions of the Small Rooms, Big Nerves mini tour. I was also expecting these shows to take place towards the middle of next year, but she must have other touring plans up her sleeve to support the album.

I wonder if she's heard Mature yet? They would break the internet if they interviewed each other, tbh. It's not something I can see happening but it would be a massive moment if it were to.

I think Lindsay also liked a post from People about Hilary's return to music a couple months ago? I could be imagining this but I'm sure it was posted somewhere.

It's literally a crime that Hilary wasn't the first one to get it. She paved the way for everyone who has received the honour before her. Make it make sense, Disney…

During album release week, I need to see her performing on the Jennifer Hudson Show, Kelly Clarkson Show, Live With Kelly & Mark, The View, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, and SNL. Then for the second week, in-store signings should be arranged to secure a second week at #1 on the albums chart.

I hope we won't be waiting that long for a trailer. I'm picturing the trailer teasing the re-recorded versions of Dreams, Come Clean, and the second single.

I would love an acoustic performance or a proper backyard sessions type of thing. Maybe something like that will follow the album release? I'm hoping for another variant announcement before Christmas and a trailer for the docuseries.

Even after all this time, her line delivery on "I hope it leads to a salon" still sends me.

Everything pertaining to the US appears locked and ready for announcement so I don't think there will be any or many scheduling conflicts. She might not make it to international markets for concerts until early 2027 if Pretty Ugly does begin filming next fall.

I wouldn't worry too much about it at this stage. I know a lot of us expected it to begin filming early next year, but I guess it's possible that when Variety announced it, it had just gone into development as the only information we were provided was the show premise, producers, and starring lead. I think worst case scenario is that it won't begin filming until late August/September next year with its premiere date in the first half of 2027.

She is so precious in this. I was genuinely surprised to see her get all of these correct, especially the much older songs, but I suppose re-recording them as well as singing them in live band rehearsals have put them all back inside her brain. Minus Sparks, maybe this interview serves as an Easter egg for the remaining songs we'll be getting re-records of?

The best thing about her (mine) versions is that she will receive majority of the revenue they bring in, especially on songs she has co-writing credits on. I'm sure Hollywood Records will receive a small portion of profit, but very little compared to the original master recordings that they're in ownership of. I'm sure they've made some nice money over the vinyl releases lol.

This is really interesting to think about, especially when Hilary was the "guinea pig" for Hollywood Records and we honestly have no idea about the stipulations in her recording contract with them/Disney. It's completely possible she was unable to perform her hits in their original form back in 2015 as it does explain the remix of Come Clean she performed at KissFM. It could have also been a reason behind the scenes as to why the tour fell apart because she would have had to be performing music in a format that didn't align with her taste at the time. We also have the interview from 2016 where she stated BIBO wasn't an album worth touring for, but she was in the early stages of making one that was. She was truly fed up and unhappy about having her creative control revoked from RCA back then, on top of Andre Recke doing nothing for her.

I've just stumbled upon this extremely random interview from the Dignity era. I'm giving props to Nardwuar for being interesting and quirky...Hilary's facial expressions throughout the interview left me cackling.

I don't foresee her re-recording an entire album but I think we can expect an EP of sorts that contains re-recorded versions of: What Dreams Are Made Of Why Not So Yesterday Come Clean Fly Someone's Watching Over Me Wake Up Beat of My Heart I suspect the EP might see an official release whenever the residency/tour kicks off, or she will use them as digital bonus tracks for luck...or something to further push sales once it's released. There's no way she's going to keep So Yesterday and Wake Up exclusive to a vinyl variation when there's money to be made off of them.

They were all for the phone commercials as it was Disney Japan that had the exclusive rights to use the recordings. The commercials were filmed on February 1st, 2008, in Sydney, Australia, while Hilary was there for the Dignity tour.

Unfortunately it has never surfaced in it's entirety without the overdub. It's truly a shame because she really gave one of her best vocal performances to a commercial. We might need Andre Recke to help us out with this one.

Hopefully the docuseries will land on either Disney or Netflix, but I think the last indicator we saw is that it could potentially be home to Paramount. She even did some international signings as well for Metamorphosis. Maybe they're looking to repeat that rollout?
