I'm surprised, the Vegas dates feel like another mini tour instead of a proper residency. I wonder if they really didn't expect how much demand there was going to be to see her live, or if this is just another droplet of shows before the album drops that'll lead into an actual tour.

but I rather her just re-record an entire album of hers 

as much as im very happy that we get some rerecording... they sound (wake up & what dreams are made of) a little bit like demo.. idk someting about the vocals production or someting makes it sound not polished, like a final version...

same thoughts here. maybe its just matt & the gang's production style lol. or maybe thats what she wants, ir less polishing and sounds more raw.

 

but i hope the full versions of those rerecords will prove us wrong and actually sound solid and polished.

I will be disappointed if these re record versions are what she will be playing on tour

Judging by her comment about Sparks in the Variety interview, I would not be surprised if the (mine) version of this track is the most different production-wise of all the rerecordings. Maybe a more stripped back version?

I personally don't see it that way.

Lindsay seemed to always be the hypocritical one back then (early 2000s). She used to make some shady comments about Hilary and even publicly made fun of her on SNL. Then, when asked about Hilary in interviews, she would say positive things but in a sarcastic/snooty way, making it look like she was innocent and Hilary was the crazy one.

Hilary was always sincere and straightforward, never played the victim, and I respect her for that. 

 

Anyway, it seems they solved their issue/misunderstanding back in 2007.

This is the correct take. Nothing about Lindsay's comments concerning Hilary ever seemed authentic and always had that sarcastic, "mean girl" tone. Hilary wore her heart on her sleeve a bit, but you have to remember that for how big she was and all the love she had from the fans, she also had more vitriol from the critics because of how much of a good girl she was.

Exactly my thoughts when I saw the announcement, I think out of all the "mine" versions Sparks is the one that could sound the most different based on her comments.

BTW I'm super excited about her performing in Vegas, but I was hopping for more dates, it's not even a mini-residency so she should just had announce it as 3 more "Small Rooms, Big Nerves" tour dates, although I like that it will be right before the new album drops and she could do Coachella, before announcing a proper tour.

I think the roll out prior to the album with the mini-tour followed by a mini-residency is super unique. I'm so looking forward to next year and if these smaller shows are really going to lead up to a major tour, maybe being the culmination to the docuseries.

I can't wait to her all about this musical comeback in her own words.

Wondering what to do as well. No news about the resale policy so could be risky. Saw some tickets for over 500€ and as much as I adore her, I can't afford that and I don't want a scammer to benefit from it.

Cause I thought the Vegas residency announcement wasn't coming til later

Maybe they announce it now cause of high demand of her shows

Since everything is back to back I hope Hilary doesn't stop promoting once the album drops I hope she drags this out for the rest of 2026

She could do a deluxe version of the album or release stand alone singles

I don't think she would make another album so quickly unless it's made up of unreleased songs

I feel like the Vegas shows will be more of a greatest hits with a few new songs but I think it will focus more on her back catalogue

I wonder if the Vegas shows will be longer the ones I have seen even Ashlee have been long

I was reading the press junkets for the Vegas announcement yesterday and these 3 new shows have been labelled as extensions of the Small Rooms, Big Nerves mini tour. I was also expecting these shows to take place towards the middle of next year, but she must have other touring plans up her sleeve to support the album.

Probably the same show. Vegas might have some extra tracks but that'll be it.
