This tallies with the lower end of what I'm expecting and, like you said, Bey benefits from us having not heard anything other than BMS. Plus likely holding the video until album drop (see now why that was smart, folks?!).

 

Based on your Billie example, she will need to drop some more covers, boxes, and formats (cassette?) to further pad her physicals. Fully expecting this in the coming days. They are (presumably) spreading it out.

Bey should do better on AM since that's where her core base lies and considering what we saw with Summer (I should do a breakdown of hers as well and she smashed on AM but did okay on Spotify) doing 166k with 12k pure, Bey should debut somewhere in the middle of that. That's why I've been predicting 220k since the start

It should give a bit of a boost, especially if the video is a massive serve. Billie released HTE video while all the other tracks were just audio which is what I'm assuming (hoping) Bey does on YT. YT doesn't count as much as it used to but it's still something.

I don't think we know how bey will sell in this climate. 

I'm not chart hive so don't put too much into it beyond wishing for the best!

My (on the lower end cuz I prefer to keep expectations low) estimate is 250k and I think that'll be nice! 

While the pre-orders and physicals help and she did well with Lemonade, I think anything beyond totally depends on the release itself. ST and Lemongod did extremely well (in limited tracking) because they made huge news. The releases were events and had the news and pop culture by the throat. The surprise release had everyone shook and lemonade with its premier and jay cheating stuff just exploded. And then the quality carried word of excellence and the queen being the QUEEN. 

She has the name to do similar stuff but the final success will come down to how the release will be. (I still believe there is a surprise in store - didn't they tease us with the Vogue article?)

Anyway it doesn't matter. We are getting B7 in 5 days and so the real winners are the Beyhive. The way she always delivers quality and gives every project her all and loves studying and honing her craft. Thank you god for giving me the talent to know to stan bey.

Can someone update me on everything that’s happened in the last week? Don’t feel like reading back. What’s the tone in here? Everyone happy and satisfied now? 
 

Last thing I saw was the track list reveal along with all the writers and producers leak.

 

And also, for those who’ve been clowning on Yvette for liking that rollout tweet, are we interpreting “rollout” to be pre album release rollout? Cause I honestly have the feeling that they’re gonna take their time with this era and there’s a lot left in store for us.

Beyonce will do a lot better on Spotify as opposed to summer and I think she’ll do similar to summer on AM. It should also be

noted that BMS did better on Spotify US than AM US in the first 24 hours.

Interesting. I think these sales are pretty good considering the climate. The overall narrative going around was that she underperformed. Her album is also doing pretty well on billboard 200, still top 50. Longevity is what truly matters at the end of the day and I hope that will be true for renaissance. 

I also heard about the label’s reaction to Aquarius Superstar. If it’s as good as they say, I wonder if she should release it like two days before the album release to get that hype and for people to want to tune in for the rest of the album.

I predict she'll open with 240-270k 

We know there were 30k limited edition vinyls. Those are sold out. Lets conservatively estimate each pose had 10k. Those are sold out.
