How do you go this far all solely from tantrums on how the album is being ignored? That's one thing I don't like about ATRL Hive is that they not only do this but also let Bey get dogwalked all over this site and have done it for years. It's just as bad as Twitter Hive setting her up by quoting hate tweets incessantly.

But that's what I'm saying. If Renaissance was performing the exact same way (and it was pretty close to which is why we all say Cuff It was saving grace), would we say "well, if it was as great as critics/Hive says, why isn't it performing much better after a month?". I'm not even one of those "who cares about the numbers" Hive but you should never judge quality by how much it spreads commercially and this goes for any type of entertainment medium. I would never go from saying "this film/show is excellent" and then look at the low views/box office and then say "Well, it's actually not great since it's sliding or a non-starter". That's never a good way to look at things. You can love Renaissance more (as do I) without doing all of that

I don't think it's undisputed that it's embarrassing how much of a fall it's taken. I just think there's no point to continue harping on the obvious; it's all on her. We can spew our rightful frustrations without the claim of fake praising the album just cause it's tumbling in streams. Was it fake gagging for Renaissance even though it was in pretty much the same position with only Cuff It keeping it afloat (and let's not act like the same meltdowns weren't exhausted during that "era"). I'm not gonna denounce the album's quality just cause of her carelessness.
