The streams could be better but they are not bad. She’s doing almost 9M while Lizzo (who is predicted to be #1 and has 2x more radio airplay) is doing 14M. Only Bad Bunny and Drake are pulling close to 20M. A video drop will boost our streams. If she loses out on the #1, it will most likely be because of Harry Styles insane radio numbers. Columbia needs to pull As It Was from radio

In comparison, Survivor did 663,000 which was released in 2001 at so much better sales climate. Though it's really hard to predict, but it's safe to say that when it comes to first week her sales are actually very consistent. Of course y'all gonna let her 'side' projects fool you but her side projects has no physical and actually did better than other artist's side projects too.

I just assumed there was a small dip between ST and Lemonade due to the similar release and genres they are but very impressed she went up a little bit.  Obviously this one won't match that, but I'll be very happy if she can get to IASF numbers for this release.

So I'm taking the market into account. Pure sales are dead and I'm unsure of what an older artist like Bey could bring in after she's stifled her previous releases. 

Yeezus did 300K in 2013 while Pablo did 100K in 2016 while B did 617K and 653K (both sabotaging themselves and released around the same time). B's first week sales are always higher than Kanye it seems and higher than Kendrick's. Besides, B sales are always higher than One Direction's too (For Harry Styles comparison). 

 

As for Drake, Views is streaming driven and B actually outsold him in pure sales plus B is coming back after 6 years hiatus. Besides, it seems like B side projects actually sold more pure despite only digitally available. 

I can't at her announcing the album six weeks early and no leak is happening she really learn alot from the 4 era. Aside from musical genius, she's very good in managing these kind of stuffs..
