My gut says it's the CCT movie. Either on a streamer (hopefully) or AMC again, and it's deliberately being teased/announced now to run as a trailer during Taylor's film (same as before) for the cross-promotion of it all. 

 

That said...

 

Something feels Act III coded. The three stories, the three people in the post, etc. At the very least, they are being deliberately ambiguous.

 

My wish would be Act III. Announce it now for like Dec/Jan. Either go all out for holiday sales or aim for a quiet Q1 arrival to ensure no competition sales-wise.

Not even to be "that" person, but another reason I want it to be Act III is because I feel conflicted about Act II. Yes, another stellar album. Another blockbuster tour. But I'm growing tired of the nothingness that is this trilogy rollout. And I say this as someone who still very much believes the visuals etc are incoming. 

With Rennie, there was at least the virality, the remixes, the cultural domination. CC, much as I enjoy it, appreciate the musical exploration, and love the AOTY win etc, just wasn't that by comparison. As an era. 

So, I'm semi of the mindset: why continue beating a horse that has run and won its race. Especially when we can move on to other ish. 

 

The reality is that this will probably end up being be her late Q4 drop for RWT movie and Q1 setup for CC done all over again. 

We'll see.

The centerpieces of each act are the tours so far, obviously from a money-making perspective and visually as well. Let's say she announces act III for Thanksgiving, she can't skip well over a year and take the album on the road in 2027, when she already pretty much exhausted the album release -> tour spans for the first two acts.

I'm with you, but I do think she - and by proxy we - ought to be mindful that she shouldn't presuppose that each rollout will land in the same favorable / predictable climate as the last. 

 

Rennie, to a degree, was self-sustaining. It defined viral. It also had the label/buzz of being "Beyoncé's first solo album in six years". CC benefitted from the success of that, but -let's keep it a buck - it didn't hit the same culturally. And, as a "Country" album, it was probably never designed to nor expected to. It did its thing in its own way. 

 

I say that to say, every artist, no matter how big or small, is tasked with finding fresh ways to engage the masses. 

 

While there is a fair chance Bey can, for one last time, do her "album now, no promo, and tour a year later" schtick and somehow still pull it all off (high first week sales, cultural acclaim, and a record-breaking tour), there is also potential for audience fatigue with her strategy third time around. Particularly given the "nothingness" our girl tends to give post-album release. 

 

I really don't want it to be a case of pulling it off for two acts and fumbling at the end. I imagine Act III will be great musically, but it's always smart to prepare for the best and worst case scenarios, with the worst here being that Act III is somehow polarizing or just not as well received by fans and/or critics. A year plus for an album that didn't hit "like that-that" wouldn't be a wise play.

 

In an ideal setup, for me, it would go:

 

* Act III announced somewhere between  now/late Q4, or Q1 2026

* Act III released in Q1/early Q2 2026

* Visuals, tying all the acts together, either arriving alongside Act III or very soon after
 

- If she can milk the above for most of 2026, then...
 

* Act III tour announced late 2026 for early 2027 start (Oceanea?)

 

OR (wildcard option)

 

- if it's looking like Act III isn't shaping up to be Rennie or CC - then condense everything and do...

* A limited run of stadium dates in 2026 and wrap this ish tf up lol.

This is the lady who was literally preparing a global stadium tour for Summer 2020 to promote her Lion King soundtrack album that had already colossally bombed across the globe. I really don't think she is worried about touring an album that doesn't perform well. 

 

This will almost certainly be a Cowboy Carter related announcement-this is far too muted of a tease for Act III. For Act III or the visuals we'd more likely see Bey post something on her own story than on parkwood's. This will more likely be a 'Parkwood Presents...' situation, which a tour film would absolutely fulfil. 

 

I also think this will be a streaming film. Hopefully netflix, because in the UK idk how they would distribute a HBO film (Now TV? Maybe? But nobody has that lol).

 

Regardless, this all occuring alongside the anniversary of the Renaissance film makes me almost certain it's a tour film, which means some fun new things for the hive;

 

- A new end-credits song! Hopefully something super fun and country in the vein of Texas, and maybe even something that could garner legs culturally! Her last few end credits songs (Before I Let Go and My House) have become personal favs, so I'm intrigued. 

- New viral moments for Beyonce. Renaissance's tour film gave us Blue's defence of Diva, Beyonce's lens-gate, and that gorgeous homage to Uncle Johnny. This film will likely give us a lot more from family Carter, which always does well for her brand image, and hopefully some funny moments too.

- Will cement the tour as an iconic moment in her career. These films are always shot so well. Don't underestimate the impact that immortalising a great tour in great quality can have on public perception. 

- Should remind people of Beyonce's three act project with good timing as we head into the new year. Taylor fatigue should have set in by then, Wicked will have wrapped up, Sabrina has already dropped her project... it puts Bey in good stead to drop her final act (complete with Bad Bunny collab) and then fry us with the visuals

Mind you, her SB verizon ad (and THE/16C/CC by extension) were teased via a nameless, obscure Verizon tweet that did not even tag her, Parkwood or anything. Let's not presume to know how the Act III rollout will unfold and instead just let it happen

That's the thing. I love Bey and really do believe in her commercial potency. But I just don't want to fall for the okey-doke that she s able to win on some kind of automated thing. 

 

I LOVE The Gift and think it's one of the best things she's ever done, but I do think a Gift Tour, if not very meticulously mapped out geographically, would have struggled on some OTR2 tip, if not more. She is a strong touring act, but she/we shouldn't presuppose that the product she is touring at any given point doesn't "need" to hit. The goal should always be that it does. 

 

I often think she is extremely lucky or just has good people around her because it feels like every time she's about to make a misstep, the universe or her universe lol, course-corrects on her behalf.

I agree that I want to be a streaming thing. Not to rain on CC's parade (because I like and am thankful for the era), but calling a spade a spade, I don't think the girls will be flooding the theaters to see it compared to Rennie. If she wants to be the extra we know she is, she can even make it a "limited streaming event". Or some kind of live "see it for one night only"

Maybe they realized ignoring stuff is how things like that "She Knows" stuff got out of control, and all of those crazy AI Russian "news" articles. 

 

They honestly need to just hire a media team that specializes in monitoring and having the crazy stuff removed.

i see some people say they think he is or want bad bunny on act iii. i might misremember things but wasn't there a random account on here saying him, Jay, Coldplay and someone else were on the album ? that was a few weeks back and seemed pretty random… but maybe it wasn't 

She really is in a league of her own.

 

Always taking the risk to try new sounds, genres and concepts yet still delviering quality. Not just sticking to the same formula.

As much as i would like to move past CC era (not because i didn't like it but because I'm anxious about act III) a documentary would be a great addition. There's a lot to be said about what's behind act II that most people missed (more so than act I) and hearing it from her mouth with some historical context on video would make the project become more appreciated i think.
