I agree, but more so because the insecure, gatekeeping country music fans were absolutely insufferable the entire time. It was already bad enough in 2016 with that CMT performance, but they were never going to give her spin a chance regardless of how uninspired, watered down and monotonous the country genre has been for the past decade. All they could do was cherry pick a spaghetti verse and tell us how she could never be as country as Christ Stapleton. Like what? Now let's use that same logic and compare American Requiem to Fancy Like Dennys, but I digress. It's just been the worst Beyoncé era ever (despite her AOTY win), so I hope the tour is her best yet tbh.

They will do that regardless + we been through The Gift. I don't think an underperformance from Bey and the liddos lashing will cause any impact on us. I think the hive is more "accepting" of failures... we laugh and drag our fave harder than them anyway

That fanbase flooded Renaissance's Spotify thread with Chromatica comparisons only to run away and hide when it back fired and Renaissance started gaining better updates  It doesn't make sense to spare then when they're constantly the first ones to antagonize and instigate problems with Hive. They're the living embodiment of dish it but can never take it....

It was funny to see that same group become so artificially kind last week when a chance at a collaboration came to the surface.

I have never seen Hive antagonize Monsters yet the opposite happens constantly and the reasons are obvious. They brought it upon themselves. The funny thing is I don't even care about Beyonce doing numbers because her acclaim and consistency is beyond reproach yet certain other fanbases crumble when anyone points out the underwhelming numbers. 

The Hive and the Monsters SHOULD be sister-fan bases. Like out of all the contemporary pop girls, I respect Gaga the MOST! But the way they acted from 2018-2022 was diabolical. They were the ones that were posting leaked snippets of Renaissance EVERYWHERE trying to sabotage it when it was first leaked. The north remembers 

Yeah, objectively they are the most talented entertainers out there and ideally, we should be working together to defeat the real evil. Gaga obviously respects and admires Beyonce, she was crying when she won AOTY and she's been teasing the Telephone continuation. But certain parts of that fandom can't put their prejudice aside and keep baiting. Well, it's going to bite back.

Frankly, I have no problem with Gaga, but I am OLMH, a huge hater, Kendrick to Drake type of hater. 

 

They're gaslighters, weak cry babies who can fish it out bit can't take it. They have been so insufferable since The Gift and were already a pain during 4. Invading all Beyoncé's threads, even crashing this very base at one point. 

They were camping g in BMS ' thread, Renaissance's thread and CC's. 

They even sped up to have the threads thinking they would flop, only to abandon it after weeks. 

 

Yet after that, when she released her songs/album, the Hive was indifferent and even supportive (at least I was) just for them to turn around and bring Beyoncé in all the threads, make stupid comparisons' threads, and then cry victims because we respond. **** them big time. This time, I chose VIOLENCE! 

 

All I know is doing half of Renaissance's streams (Bey's streaming debut post-Tidal) and a third of Bomboy Farter's on demand streams in the biggest music market is kind of tragique. Imagine if Bey tacked on Coldplay or Ed to her albums. 

 

i like gaga and mayhem AND still agree monsters deserve all lashings.

I never used to go into chart threads and what not (would mostly comment in comparison threads) but after the mass tagging in that abracalala thread after one good spotify update I started taking the piss on them and it's quite funny ngl

I love half of Mayhem and honestly wouldn't have anything bad to say about her numbers if it wasn't for this narrative that Bey is beneath her. Stan wars are a two way street, but they will go to through great lengths to convince themselves and others that Gaga is above and beyond Beyoncé. It just comes off as psychosis. Hive drags Beyoncé better than the liddos do.
 

Also, Gaga edged and teased Mayhem as THE album her fans have been waiting for. I was thoroughly enjoying this roll out from the visuals to the SNL performances. Hive can only dream of a roll out half as good from Bey these days.. and yet none of it was enough to eclipse Bey's "front-loaded bomb" that no one asked for?? Like imagine if Bey tease and edge us with a R&P/Pop comeback full of visuals. Liddos would have to seek shelter. 

Just watched an Eva episode (Dutch talkshow) where Duncan Laurence (Eurovision winner and artist) is a guest, talking about Bey looking for writers back in September 2024. Like we been knew she's always working on music, but just having confirmation of her A&R actively reaching out already then makes me smile, ngl.

Okay on the other hand this is making me a little worried because is she still writing on act iii? I was kind of hoping for it to drop after the tour.
