they are different fonts

Just noticed also in the screen after the performance the "Happy Holidays" is also written in gothic

She should've done the original or not done it at all.  I get it doesn't fit her brand to beg another woman... then don't do it. 

 

9-5 by Dolly was right there and would've fit perfectly. 

Not to add more to all the "what ifs?" and I know this is so 2 years late… but I do wish Beyoncé had submitted Alien Superstar for a Grammy  I was curious and bored so I looked back online to see what Beyoncé had submitted for Renaissance in late 2022, and I was surprised to see that AS wasn't even submitted for anything. Imo AS should've replaced BMS as the Best Dance/Electronic Recording submission. BMS song structure is more in line with Pop Solo Performance, and I think AS is the true forward-thinking, song structure-breaking electronic record that deserved its Grammy's flowers 

 

I know this is random and we're way past act i, but this is something I've been thinking about lately and idk who else to tell

I can only imagine how many albums she undersold because she refuses to press vinyls for her previous work. I see so many bootleg vinyls on TikTok of her albums. So many people would want official collections. Why not give them the option? I don't understand her team. 

I'm sure this theory has been suggested, but Renaissance + CC were both released on the 29th. The next Friday that's a 29th is August. So I'm betting that act 3 will be coming out August 29. For now.

I'm not saying she won't do a documentary, but if that is the case, it's not gonna be about the halftime show lol

Yup she could've dropped the teaser that night. If it's a doc or visuals. A teaser will probably come sometime next week

Gosh I went back to listen to Jolene yesterday and hated it. The lyrics are so clunky and forced... she changed the whole narrative of the original song to fit her brand but it just land at all...

 

She shouldnt have bothered...

Y'all are really tripping! Jolene is one of the best songs on CC!

 

She flipped the narrative in a very Bey way and it's easily one of the most digestible songs on the project, cover or not.

 

True Country music is about storytelling and Jolene hits the mark. 

 

IMO the girls only hate on it because it was familiar musically vs the fifty'leven new tracks she dropped with CC.

 

Just like BMS preceding Rennie. It was this "great" single until the album dropped and sensory overload with the amount of "new" pushed it to the back of every ranking. When it reality, it too is one of the most digestable and mass-appealing songs on the record.

he was in the news for his anti-israel activism and they were tying it to her name so maybe B told him to stop posting about her for a bit idk, but i imagine as her creative director he would've posted SOMETHING about it by now? if i creative directed a halftime show it would absolutely be on my page. makes me wonder whats going on over there
