I think Hive needs to remember that the "traditional" releases aren't even being done by non-Beyoncé pop girls. The 2 biggest albums of the year, TTPD and HMHAS, had everything drop at once. A move Bey pioneered with ST. ES had just 1 single pre-release, which is what Bey also did for CC and Renaissance. The only people dropping multiple singles pre-release are new artists who need to build hype before releasing their projects (i.e. Sabrina this year).

 

So yeah, right now there is nothing unconventional about the release strategies Bey is doing for the Acts. The issue is coming after release when she abandons the entire album after just 1 month.

I fear she will drop act iii even quicker than the other two, if that's possible. Rennie at least she gave us a few remixes and it came out not long after she'd completed the album so was still fresh enough to her.

 

CC she meant to release earlier than she did so she was over it and probably let go of the hurt from the CMAs incident long before she shared it with us.

 

Act iii being the last means she's been sitting on it the longest and she's probably over that old ass music already.

why not just use the tons of footage she already has anyway instead of shooting extra footage for a random teaser ? this makes no sense

well this teaser was obviously shot at the same time as the other promos for the beyoncé bowl so its not really "extra". it could have originally been one of the teasers for the performance

 

going with my theory that its the visuals and she wants to surprise us, it would be smart to not include any of the footage we believe is part of the visuals, or to use new footage that is clearly the visuals, that would give it away. the teaser is the perfect way to keep us guessing

I would like for it to be the visuals, but this hag usually uses what's supposed to be the most obvious moment to do the most unpredictable stunts. She could be gearing us up for CC jean jackets.

for one, it'd be stupid to not announce it immediately after a live performance 27 million people tuned into watch. and there's of course Yvette's refusal of the tour rumor HDD reported.

 

but it's not a tour doesn't guarantee it won't be disappointing.  you never know with her. it could be EVERYTHING IS LOVE 2.

in AMERIICAN REQUIEM, she's mourning the American dream, the idealistic views of this place, and talks about "a pretty house that we never settled in" and burying those (white) American ideals.

 

it makes a lot of sense how COWBOY CARTER is the first album in the trilogy and "AMERIICAN REQUIEM" is the thesis statement, really. "I'M THAT GIRL" reestablishes it.

If it's not a tour and it's not visuals, then it has to be either single drop or album announcement for Act 3. Bettyblacktour.com being directed to Beyonce.com is not an accident. She's going to announce /release the single on January 14, release the album in the spring, give  fans time to learn the lyrics and pay for tickets  then tour in the summer. 
 

Assuming her kids school schedule is why she tours in summer, I'm predicting plenty of spring albums and Jan/Feb first singles from  now on

I was convinced it was the first single for act iii and tour announcement. She probably decided against announcing the tour until the single drops. 
 

Now I'm intrigued about the visuals especially with Netflix's involvement. However, I don't see her releasing the visuals without act iii being out. UNLESS act iii is actually the visuals?????  
 

Either way, the announcement has to be music related and not hair or perfume related because that's not the typical outlet she uses for that. It would be an GMA exclusive.  Nor would Netflix have retweeted it.

Wasn't she working on CC up until weeks before it was released? Which is why there were Vinyls/CD's with the original album name already printed and why we don't have physicals with the new Cowboy Carter cover??
