Despite what people say, Beyonce's core fanbase does not support everything she says or does on a whim. They don't mass buy and genuinely support what they like. 

 

I think Hive is intrigued but they're  waiting to see the final product and effort on Beys part before they buy in. Alot of Hive was getting worn out with the surprise drops and lack of passion she seemed to display. The Lem, 444, EIL saga alienated alot of her core fanbase. I pray she never does OTR III. It'll flop. How badly she handled the Gift didnt help either. 

 

Bey is going to have to go back to the basics and earn the marketshare she lost back. Renaissance is very fitting this era. 

Oh yeah, I realized that the past few years. The amount of people who said they didn't buy EIL, TG, and Homecoming. The sales figures are there and we are all older/wiser with our money. Physical sales from now on will be really niche for collectors like us and those who have not yet transitioned to streaming (like Adele's core base of soccer moms). It's so funny because Hive will spend $300 on a ticket in a split second, but question buying a $13 album.

Assuming around 20K out of the 30k are from the US (factoring in shipping as a deterrent to intl hive) and a conservative estimate of around 10k US between the 4 poses, not counting iTunes pre-order and whatever else we get this is a really good start from a sales perspective. Unless some massive seller pops up for her release date this somewhat small sales boost is still an advantage. 

I agree 250k mark will be a great accomplishment and a reasonable estimation. 

I expected the Pose boxes to sell out faster on announcement, but like someone said the shipping is outrageous for international fans. I'd bite the bullet though cause how often has this woman released a studio album. Anything over 200k is a major success for someone 25 years in the industry and I'd love to see her pass Aubrey.  I'm still hoping for 400k, but it just sounds very difficult to achieve.

This is maybe a long shot but I'd love to see her as the first-episode special-star guest judge on the upcoming season of RuPaul's Drag Race (and have them really devote an episode to her: Night of 1000 Beyoncé's Runway Theme, Break My Soul / Renaissance Lipsync [since its so well suited], a surprise reveal of her as a guest judge kind of like how they did with Naomi, a performance challenge that allows her to offer what I know will be constructive, kind critiques, etc.)

they already filmed the first ep but Beyoncé on drag race would just be too good to be true. the good news is that they started being able to afford her B-sides and non singles as lip syncs so maybe if it stays popular they could do Break My Soul (in 5 years)

Im actually so pissed about this whole double shipping thing. I reached out to the shop support and they won‘t merge it to one package. It‘s insane to drop these items with a week in between with the shipping costs being this high. Ugh. I‘m disappointed as hell

There is no physical sales for those tho except EIL. But why would I spend money on that? 

 

I skipped all three of her releases and bought Renaissance despite the price and shipping. I could see other Hives doing the same. 

 

Imagine 30K for each of the boxes tho. 

Drake did 13K this week. There is no way miss Beyoncé isn't going to smash the physical sales with TG and HC doing 11K and 14K.

Make that black ARTIST to sell 2 million pure with an album! Lemonade will go down as the last album by a black artist and woman to cross the million pure sales mark in the US. An incredible achievement that does not get acknowledged much by the Hive or stan world.

 

I really can't see this doing less than 4. Given how well the single is performing on Spotify I'm very confident about the first week numbers as well as streams. All the people lowballing her are gonna end up looking like clowns.
