I don't care to hear Beyonce's stance on Palestine. I look to Beyonce for art and entertainment. If she decided to say something, cool. But she's not obligated to say anything and as fan I wouldn't expect her to at all. I don't go to my job and decry genocide because my politics might not align with the people who cut my check. I have a livelihood to maintain, and so does she. If people want to make a difference they need to hone that energy to the power holders and it's not the entertainers. All an entertainer could do is raise awareness and at this juncture who doesn't know about what's happening? Beyonce cannot organize a revolution. Citizens have to decide how willing they are to disrupt systems of power. If anything the Ed Sheeran situation is proof of how little power the artist has on such matters.

Good point about the physicals. I forgot about how important those are for fans and the artist sales. Unless, of course, she was actually prepared down to the T. She could have the physicals ready and ship them album release week to make sure they count. 😆

I'm having a delulu hive moment. But I was taking all things Bey into consideration including: No visuals and no understanding of why, the odd placement of the Bday reissue, and the perceived delay of ACT III. What if ACT III is a surprise drop the way BEYONCE was. No warning. Dropped out of nowhere with all the visuals in tow. Partly, the Bday release could be a smoke screen. Any rumors of her locking down stadiums? She could recreate the magic like she did that fateful December. She could tour right after Spring/Summer 2027. December 4th is a Friday.

I was just listening to Beautiful Liar and was thinking it would be kind of epic for them to do another duet.

I don't get the backlash about the Bday merch and collectors items. Artist do stuff like this all the time. There are fans out there that find value in certain items - especially limited items - are willing to pay for it. If that was not true, it would not be for sell and they would not almost be sold out. Why would anybody get mad about this? lol. I see nothing wrong with Beyonce setting her price points where she chooses.

I think I went straight to hear what was new. I'm gonna have to go back and listen from track one tomorrow to really get into the mixes.

Yeah, I'm struggling with this. On the one hand, I can hear the effort where she added new vocals or at least added never heard before vocals, but going back and listening again - they are mostly ALL just pitched down vocals. Like wtf. What's the point of pitching down the songs unless you want people to get used to the key that you'll be performing them in.
