a reminder that Jumpin' Jumpin' is Destiny's Child best song and now Beyonce released a solo version of that classic with Break My Soul

Dont ever insult an INSTANT classic song like Jumpin Jumpin

From the moment it comes ON to the moment it ENDS, it is next level, god tier music.

Insanely good production, lyrics, and delivery.

Bey needs to call those dudes back, they ate tbh.

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Love the song and glad the hysteria about a “leak” was dust.

Like I suspected no good intentions for it.

The song is a smash and most importantly fun:WAP::WAP:

The word “smash” can be indicative of musical taste , we can’t predict charts

But as far as me replaying the song , it’s a smash!:flame:

Start at 3:17. if this ***** had just taken it up and hit that final BIG ASS NOTE at 3:25.

How did she miss that?

I know she will do it live and im creaming for it.

RELEASE YA WAV FILE

SOOOO the song is SOOOO good...

I am not going to lie, at first I was unsure, but that's usually how I am with pop music. And here since it's such a well known sample it was hard for my mind not to just hear that, but after the second listen it all snapped together and I adore it...she really turned the sample into a new song, which is great, and her vocals and the LYRICS especially...such a new direction for her!

I am excited for what is to come too. I know Bey put out the more immediately understood song to prep the sound but I am curious as to the other productions (like with Honey Dijon!!!) she has waiting for us!

Also I can’t see songs Break My Soul even EXISTING on the same album as country songs. I wonder if Act 2 is B8 and it’ll be a different album with country music. I know her albums usually play with multiple genres, but the house influences in this song are so forward, direct, and clear that to juxtapose it with country music would just feel inconsistent and strange. So I really hope the country songs are in Act 2. But either way, I’m excited!

If she does collab with Kacey Musgrave like the rumors then you should check out High Horse, it’s a disco/country hybrid that got the gay going crazy a couple years back. Also she has Daddy Lesson in the same album with Formation right after 6 Inch. Nothing is impossible :jonny5:

100% the video will make this song even better... house music, and THIS song is begging you to move and seeing people dancing/enjoying themselves/embodying the lyrics is going to really round out the feelings it gives.

They shouldn't wait Friday to release the video, strike the iron while it's hot Queen.....RELEASE YA ANGER  :alexz:

If the Kacey collab is true I will never shut up about it omg :jonny5:

Interesting how this era is already playing out :rip:

Did anybody else wish Beyoncé rapped on it? I feel like she could slay rapping over a house beat.

Regardless this is already much better than Formation and RTW so we won!

Brazilian Hive have colonized the videos comment section, and watch her announce another tour that DOESN'T go there like she wouldn't literally break records in Brazil :toofunny3:

I only listened once last night and again rn. I love how she sounds but I’m over this sample. I’m sure it could’ve been so much better without it. Can’t wait for the remixes

I think Friday works best.

The Monday/Tuesday drop isn't ideal chart-wise, but I imagine they want to play the long-game up until album's release

Week 1: Less of the tracking week, "respectable" debut amidst the Drake bomb. Lots of organic buzz.

Week 2: Video effect = big jump. Possibly huge if doing something at BET Awards too (another video that would count towards streams)

Week 3 onwards: the residual benefits of the above + radio effect
Week 4: peaks with album release sales.

IMO recipe for an organic top 10 (at the very least)

If I had it my way, it wouldn't be a sample but a new instrumental for the song...only because I know her haters love grasping onto any sort of "copy" accusation, and also it makes the song a tad more special like how Formation's instrumental is straight-up iconic but I know there is more of that to come... in my mind this is probably not the best song on the album, but the best introduction to it as it defines her motives: house music recalling its classic era, empowering messages written for the dance floor, soulful vocals, etc.

It's the kind of song that works well for a first single (with nothing heard before it) but probably not as much as a second, third, fourth, etc. single.

And I think, if this is true, it's smart of her to save the bolder, more specific songs for later singles (since she does seem to be following a singles release strategy here and I'm hoping she continues that for the era).

I can also kind of see her releasing a new single/video the day of album release to for some extra promo there.

It feels weird to be in new Beyoncé era without a video.

Yeah not gonna lie I'm bored now and need something else. It feels so empty this way!

very excited at the idea of a live performance with full-on choir.

also the production elements at like 3:10.....so satisfying.

but this way they'll be a renewed energy for the song... I think its wise.... a lot of people are very into it and that will make the video go farther with people sharing it out of excitement and pre-disposed love of the song.

She could easily sell out a stadium in Brazil if she went there

I hope Tik Tok will do their job to make the song go viral!  Especially if they do the "vogue" dance.
