It's a bit jarring at first, but once you get used to it, it adds SO MUCH to the song

Anyone else annoyed by the main single thread?

 

It's so weird, I literally love honest feedback but I feel like I've been pretty protected from the vitriol, trolling, diluted racism, "my fave is better than yours so I'm only here to shade under the guise of critique" that happens outside of the Base. 

 

My ATRL experience is so stationed here for the most part, that it's easy to forget that our girl really (really) gets to other people. 

 

Rather than giving anything to their nonsense, I think the true tell-tale will be the receipts...which look great/encouraging so far.

I'm enjoying the new song so much, Queen is back. 

Pretty sure the video is going to elevate this. 

 

She's owning social media and press buzz-wise and the video (on a Friday, at that) will turn the volume all the way up. 

 

I'm manifesting a top 10 with lots of longevity. 

I hope she puts out another single after the 4th of July. This works as a Pride month celebratory first single.

Not really, I was expecting it. Bey can't win in their eyes anyway. The response to the song is extremely positive and it's smashing here in the UK and is doing really well globally, so I'm more bothered about people enjoying it, as opposed to ATRL spending any chance they can to attack it tbh.

They sound so ridiculous, especially comparing this to that abomination that is Chromatica. 
 

ESPECIALLY that song Stupid Love, which is probably the second worst pop lead I’ve ever heard, trailing only Perfect illusion

a lot of people will release their anger once Bey picks up Best Dance Recording at the Grammys with this future international smash hit

 

this is the type of song a lot of people will outright deny liking but they will also secretly loop it every day on their way to work when no one is around/can hear
