I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

It's amazing that this era Beyoncé has effectively disproven two of her biggest [hater] critiques:

  1. That her albums are only considered good because of their associated videos
  2. That she is emotionless/not relatable on stage

She said, "uh...you thought..."

3. That she’s not a fashion icon :fish1:

I was just coming here to write:

Imagine after wearing SO MANY different designers (which will prob take all of the era) she starts wearing just ONE. that would be so iconic for her and that brand...and kind of like clean the slate a bit for when she expands again.

Honestly most of the silver/chrome outfits have been ugly and bulky, not every designer knows how to handle the “color”, especially depending on the texture/fabric they use.

VERY different times. Not did the socmedia shorten everyone’s attention span, the last three VAs were released within the year of the album.

I really wonder if some of yall think Bey has ever done anything wrong in her career, cause chile at the sheer unshakeable optimism :rip:

I’m going to my first concert ever tomorrow and it just so happens to be Beyoncé

do y’all have any tips specifically about the RWT? When does the show actually start? The tickets say 8pm? When should I arrive (I’m not CR Im off to the side of the stage) Is the merch good? Should I buy anything? What about food or water? Can you bring anything or do you have to buy it there? How does the ticket entrance process work?

I'm shook you've never been to a concert. I swear you've been around since my viewing days before I even had an account and that was like 10 years ago.

The show typically starts an hour, give or take, after the time advertised on your ticket. Some of the merch is good but depends on your taste. A fan for heated is a great option though they sell out early. Plenty of food and water though hefty lines so you might as well arrive at the time listed on your ticket and then you'll have plenty of time to browse in between. The pre music will play for what feels like an eternity before she comes on so you will have plenty of warning to get to your seat.

ENJOY and make sure you tell us your thoughts.

Wasn’t St Louis one of the low selling shows? How did it look? Are Swifties going to use pictures of empty seats as a drag or did she fill them up last minute by secretly giving them away free to schools and businesses nearby?

All these fumes about her posting fashions looks and switching things up but is the theme not supposed to be BALLROOM?:deadbanana4: Like Ballroom is fashion, self expression etc. You can dislike some of the fits but I think some of the critiques are baseless.

Not every look is gonna be IT but when she hits she HITS. I’m personally happy to see all these looks on my timeline and sometimes she highlights a designer I’ve never heard of.

I just had to roll my eyes bc clearly the girls just don’t understand ballroom culture at all. Fashion is a HUGE part of it. And even besides the ballroom aspect of it how are y’all gonna complain about high fashion looks when it’s the only thing we actually look forward to when she has a show? :rip:

Some of y’all are beyond annoying.

I just always feel like Beyoncé plays the long game which will inevitably work out in her favor. (That’s my optimism).

I still see her cranking out QUALITY albums in 20 years.

she will be the modern day Beethoven.

Y’all gonna be stanning this woman when she’s 60? Her face card and snatched body plays a part in my stanning. Once she decides to let herself go I’ll probably become a casual stan sadly.

Bring binoculars boo and wear your contacts/glasses. Food and drink generally isn’t allowed to be brought into stadiums you have to buy it inside from vendors. Stadiums have multiple entrances so just walk up to whatever line and they scan your ticket you walk through a metal detector and they ask you to name 5 Beyoncé songs quickly if you can’t answer your ticket is revoked to prevent fake fans from booing during Energy

I wonder if Beyoncé’s name wasn’t Beyoncé if she’d still be as popular. If she had a basic name like Rachel I probably wouldn’t care for her as much tbh. #RandomBeyonceThoughts

bc a lot of them simply don’t give high fashion but bottom 2 from a bad drag race episode :rip:

there’s no need for 200 different looks when 100 or so of them aren’t hitting, just stick to the regulars that do hit

and the bold part is literally the entire problem :deadbanana4: no one gaf about clunky dresses, that shouldn’t be the only thing we look forward to, we should look forward to getting surprise songs, surprise features, surprise visuals… not clothes lol

Listen

Dangerously In Love

Bigger

I can’t pick more than that, I’m not a ballad girlie. But Listen should have won an Oscar. I could get lost watching Filipinos sing that damn song all day.

Why are people so bad at telling ballads apart from midtempos, slow jams etc.?

Like! Disappear is one of my FAVOrites but I always thought it was a midtempo :clown:

I was watching the St Louis footage last night and the way she only wears that salmon colored coat for 15 seconds during Im That Legend is so stupid and unnecessary, and that coat has an entire choreography around it for putting it on and taking it off. They need to retire that outfit already. And it’s even worse when she decides to wear sunglasses with it as well.
it’s giving fashion victim at this point
