I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

I actually asked the employees at Macy’s and Nordstroms and neither of them will be selling the perfume in fall. So is she only selling her GAS online???

I mean truthfully who buys perfume from them anyway? We’re not in the 90s or early 2000s. She may sell it at Sephora,  Saks or she may not. And it smells amazinggggg. A very luxury fragrance

Should I hope for a collab with Bjork? Would it ever happen?

The last Bjork album was devoid of creativity. She’s past her prime so no use for Bey :giraffe:

Would you say the same for Grace Jones and Madonna? Bey is a legend and she should collaborate with legends :giraffe:

What is the perfume even called? I hope EAU DE PARFUM is not an actual name

I was hoping she calls the hair products line Pure Honey but now that her backup singers are called that and I've realized that Pure Honey doesn't sound good, I wanna see what she'll come up with. Hope she uses the word honey in some form

Why is Woman Like Me not on Spotify?! :skull:

Looking back, it all stems to the Pink Panther team for not opening their wallet for an official soundtrack album. If she ever does that outtake / rarities album... "Woman Like Me" should be a bonus track.

I would love for it to appear in a Bond film or a female superhero film.

I’m seated y’all!

the stage looks smaller in person, everything feels more intimate. I’m off on a side section and I feel like I have an amazing view of the stage like there was no reason to buy the specialty seats

Name a 6 song EP stronger ***** I dare you :jonny5:

1. Cozy

2. Alien Superstar

3. Move

4. Virgos Groove

5. Pure/Honey

6. Summer Renaissance

We’re still waiting for her to show up…. How many times has she performed Drunk in Love? The first show and Atlanta night 3 were the only ones I heard of

Heated as a finale? :skull: SR is kinda THEE closing ceremony of the album.

Beyonce's career has become in the greater scheme of things regarding prolonged success over such a vast amount of time. Do MJ, Diana Ross, and Paul McCartney all have 100 combined chartings across each of their respective careers? Not sure.

to be fair, this has a lot to do with the Hot 100 rules and norms changing over time. nowadays big artists can debut their entire albums on the Hot 100, doesn't even mean the individual songs are hits.

Hot 100 has had many limitations in the past. until 1998, album tracks were not eligible to chart, only singles that were released on a physical format were. that's why a song like No Doubt's "Don't Speak" was ineligible to chart on the Hot 100 despite being the #1 radio hit for 16 weeks straight, for example.

if you limited the inflated current-day numbers to singles-only, Drake would not have anywhere near 300 "hits"and Beyoncé wouldn't have 100.

just pointing out the flaw of the comparison, but I do agree Bey has had longevity that easily rivals the people you listed, if not surpass them.

There's some difficulties going on right now. The music cut in the middle of Alien Superstar and the lights turned on

There was a production malfunction while she was performing alien superstar. She walked off stage :jonny6:

*Shrugs* While we have streaming, and rules that permit entire albums to chart on the Hot 100, we also have to remember that the era in which all 3 artists above achieved their success in groups allowed for the ability to chart both A-side and B-side singles, sometimes simultaneously at #1, as well as a label system that supported output of 2 or 3 full albums a year, complete with at least 3 singles each, maybe more if radio caught onto something else from a project.

When you think about the Motown method of having every superstar group on the roster perform their own version of a past hit song from a labelmate and have it appear as a bonus track on their current album, it was very possible for radio to play another version of the same hit, sometimes giving artists on the label a bonus hit without lifting a finger when radio started playing the new version. The Beatles also used the same method, and covered popular songs of the era receiving their own chart success with these songs.

Both eras have their loopholes and tricks.

Somebody's getting fired

And that's Beyoncé herself!

Even the power system is fed up with her shenanigans. The Glendale stadium said 'No more show until you put that visuals announcement on those screens ma'am! :tsk:'
