  1. Well, for stans of certain artists, they're not going for the performance, they're going for a giant 3 hour sing-a-long. But for real performers, like Beyoncé, 3 hours feels like 1.5
  2. The key difference is that Hamas, a designated terrorist organization, is responsible for the immediate security concerns faced by Israel, including the recent escalation on October 7. Israel's response is a culmination of years of missile attacks from Hamas, with over 4,000 rockets launched in recent years alone which have necessitated costly defensive measures like the Iron Dome. When these defensive systems are overwhelmed, as they were on October 7, offensive measures become necessary to address the root cause of the attacks and ensure the safety of civilians. While there are valid concerns about the proportionality of Israel's response where civilians are involved, it's important to distinguish between defensive actions against terrorist threats and the criteria for labeling something as genocide. Genocide involves a specific intent to destroy a group, which is different from a nation's response to ongoing security threats. Not every ~bad~ thing is a genocide.

Hmm. After seeing how T***** is bullying the eyelash girl, I think I get why Bey almost nixed the AMC showing. If the rumors are to be believed, BeyBey planned her release well ahead knowing that she was making a documentary film, who's release was to coincide with the end of her tour. And so it pissed it her off when somebody else, who's tour is still going on btw, copied her move and got more respect out of the process. Maybe it was that serious after all. Sorry I doubted you, mother.
  4. I have insider information stating that Taylor has contacted ATRL to have them replace Billie's banner with TTPD
  5. Mind you, this lady is 40 messing with a 20 year old.
  6. Boy this is really turning out to be a .... POP EMERGENCY! Billie FIGHT BACK, sis!
  7. Sounds like a debate you need to take up with the ICJ.
  8. The disconnect is that you've convinced yourself it's a genocide (which is totally your right) with a level of certainty that is difficult to derive from the available facts. Otherwise, there's been no "official" determination that a genocide is occurring, and there's plenty of reason to think it is not. I think this comes from a strong anti-Israel bias, not the facts as we know them. "Genocide" requires a specific intent to eliminate a group of people. Not just a lot of deaths. A lot of deaths happen in all wars, especially when one side purposely barricades itself in dense civilian populations. That specific intent has been proven nowhere.

Me pretending not to know Act 3 is rock so she doesn't cancel it:

I can accept this. Ultimately she released it, so we can assume her consideration for us outweighed her privacy concerns. So no hard feelings there. But still, it's scary to think that we, the fans, were this close to being punished because of some messy execs at a theater company. Like, damn, ma. Was it that serious? Cause apart from the tour, we got NOTHING else from her that era — especially if you consider that most tour content/discussion was primarily driven by people's homemade tour videos.

I think it's deeper than that. Cause she obviously still reads (or has her team read) tweets. I think it's more that she realized how dumb people are (experts with no expertise) and didn't want to be caught rolling in the mud with them. Even her own "stans" say the most disrespectful **** about her and her family day in and day out. I think that's also why Rihanna, Gaga, and Taylor backed off. There's like no upside to engaging with every day fans that closely.
  12. I'm gonna need the MMT (modern monetary theory) girlies to come to the mic. Like many others, I bought into the leftist idea that the deficit didn't matter and some inflation would be a worthwhile trade off for higher wages… and now it's leftists who are abandoning us with the fallout of their ideas. This is why we don't give them anything. If Trump wins, guarantee we will never see a $4 trillion (with a T!) infusion into the economy, mostly thanks to Pelosi , aimed at keeping average Americans afloat during a would-be recession. With fickle political allies like this, who needs enemies?
  13. King (btw him being Zionist or not has nothing to do with this conversation). Usually when artists at the top start to act as petty as Taylor, it's because they're afraid of being replaced. I feel a dark storm brewing over Miss Swifts career if she continues down this route. It takes the focus off of what she loves (the music) in service of charts and success.

I love fave but she can be so scary sometimes. She REALLY hates not being in the drivers seat. I'm glad she went through with it.
