Hi, I'm new here. I became a massive fan of Bey after she released the homecoming live album. No joke it was the soundtrack of my life during late 2019/early 2020  (was a casual fan for years before that). 

 

Just wanted to say I agree with most members who think the Renaissance era has SUCKED other than the album itself and the tour. Unfortunately this is my first experience of a solo era from her

welcome! glad you’re still enjoying the artistry even though she’s making the era itself a huge pain in the ass 

In terms of other legs - The whole "RWT-2023" feels like a dead giveaway. There was no FWT-2016 or designation of the year in any of the references to that or previous tours. So talks about future dates being next year actually makes sense. She's clearly "doing all the things we told her she couldn't" I hate her sm sometimes

All the theories aside (many of the reasons noted for the visuals being delayed make sense), it still doesn't explain why she couldn't:

 

a) release stand alone videos for Break My Soul and Cuff It

and/or

b) release followup single(s)

 

I'm all for her taking as long as she needs to fulfill her vision, and I'm sure the scope of what she's working on is HUGE, but I do think she could've very easily visually enhanced the era up a tad bit with some minor adjustments.

Idk if it has been said so gonna say it again sry. The outfit posts are tired. They are beyond tired.

 

If she wants iconic “lewks” from this tour she should not be changing every night and assaulting our feeds with completely over the top ensembles that look like they each cost $20 million . Madonna’s cone bra, whatever MJ wore, it was consistent through their tours and the image became embedded. And notice the outfits weren’t all that elaborate….
 

Her team is way too invested in the “fashun” when there are million other things fans care about

I’m glad that Halo is not anymore “I wanna dedicate this song to my incredible fans”-song and that Flaws And All has taken its place. Somehow it feels personal and I certainly prefer it

Part of me thinks they're ingratiating themselves with the fashion community for a reason. The Tiffany endorsement and becoming friends with the LVMH family, the Balmain collab... I'm a little bit worried she's about to venture into high fashion

I love I Care and 1+1 but she did them a lot. I want some she doesn’t usually do that much. All Night hasn’t been performed since 2016 and Bigger’s been only in Dubai. I’m sure I Care and 1+1 always could’ve been back for the next tour, especially if act iii is rock
