That's not even something she did on any other tours except some specific instances (Standing on the Sun, for example), so it's kind of odd that we are asking it from her as if it's something we now lack.

 

Not to mention, if someone watches everything that happened at the concert beforehand and then is mad she didn't do anything new, that's THIER problem. The debuted looks are fun too, but if she didn't do that, complaining that she didn't would also be one's own problem.

thinking the other acts are scrapped is odd even tho there hasn’t been ANY acknowledgment of it since she announced them over a year ago… can we pls just discuss / complain without going through a bunch of paragraphs and excuses every time

You've projected a lot onto me which I don't say, though some is very much things I would say.

 

I do think it's odd to say "the fashion is the only thing we can look forward to [on tour]" when the tour is far more special, entertaining and transcendent than whether it has or lacks a new surprise song, something she is not in the slightest known for doing.

 

And I am never being a fake stan. I'm very much content with whatever she choses to do because I am happy to let the artist I stan do what she pleases rather than measuring her against what other artists do, what we want her to do, etc. Do I want her to make OTR3 and release a flop album? No. If she does does that change anything about my fandom? Will I try to figure out possible reasons why she chose this? Yes. Why not? I find that far more fruitful than complaining throughout an entire "era", defining it by what she didn't do vs. what she has given us.

It is indeed "okay". It's not a terrible song but I do dislike it for the fact that at the time of its release it felt very much like a concession in order to get commercial success, which altogether did not feel like the intent of the era (RTW, even 1+1 all being outside the radio norm). It was the "correct" decision because it was the highest charting song of the era, but I do think had another song been focused on, it might have served the era better without looking like she's backtracking all the way back to 2006 to put out another Irreplaceable, years after all the wannabe-Irreplaceable had already came out. And it's not like a Crazy in Love to Déja Vu situation where at least it got more intense and doubled down on the energy, holding its own (or a Get Me Bodied to Single Ladies where the sound was expanded upon) it very much is a lesser copy of Irreplaceable. Add to that the wedding themed video (I find weddings very cheesy and points towards this commerciality they so clearly sought with this single choice) and those DRY buns...it remains the only video of her's I've seen once.

I just think that with even a little bit of imagination (or research), it's not hard to get insight to what she's doing.

 

No visuals? She literally said she wanted the music to come first.

No visuals still? They're not done OR were delayed for probably not insignificant reasons OR she's waiting for what she considers the perfect time

No new acts yet? Why would she release a new act before she's even finished touring the first?

No word on when the new acts are? act I had about a month's notice. The Gift had 1 week's notice. Everything else since 4 has had no notice. And given the visuals' delays, why would she announce when we could expect new music?

No surprise songs? When has she ever had the routine of performing surprise songs?

Why does she need to change costumes so much? Because she can; because she's extra; because it compliments the ballroom theme

Why is she posting every new outfit? Because why would she hide them? Because probably the brands expect her to given they are provided for free.

 

 

The only area that is very unclear is why she's not releasing new singles and why she's not (yet) touring outside the US and Europe.

 

At some point we just need to accept that this is how Beyoncé is. And no amount of complaining is going to change that. And if you need to vent...vent, but don't be surprised when people try to explain or find joy in what she has given us, especially when the venting has the tone of anger and cruelty not just disappointment and wishful thinking.

She released ST & EIL while touring, that’s not a reason not to release new acts or at least let people know literally anything about what’s happening 

 

The setlist used to differ slightly between US/Europe. 
 

Is there a logical reason why the tour isn’t being extended (as far as we know)?

I don't think we have any insight but ever since Blue started school she's primarily done only late spring into early fall tours. I believe she wants he children to have normal school years even if they have to leave early or start the year a month late. This will be confirmed by if we see Blue do any dates in September.

While both are examples of releasing music on tour, both were when she was touring catalogue tracks. The new releases didn't really interrupt the promo or celebration of anything else.

For RWT she (nearly) performs an entire album worth of songs that were never yet performed until the tour started. It seems illogical to drop act ii before she's even finished what she started for act i. Whether one thinks it's logical or not, at the least it should not be a surprise that she's letting act i have its moment before moving onto the next act.

When she announced the tour and we realized she’s injured and when she started the tour with “less dancing, low energy”, they were saying that she should have delayed the tour if she’s not ready and now that they were proven wrong, they complain about her not announcing more. Yeas, it would be amazing if she did more dates and she should go to Latin America, Africa and Australia, but maybe she has her reasons we don’t know. Wait and see, that’s all you can do

speaking of this, I really love what a muse she's ben for the brand. all the pieces she's been wearing have been really stunning...that necklace that is like, a series of women is really amazing...and the fact that they are designing clothing for her too is super interesting and innovative. I don't know if they've ever designed clothing before but it seems like a new thing.

Maybe act II is coming soon. And another tour along with it. 

 

My only real problem with this era was few singles and only one "really" pushed. I wish Heated and AS had been released and pushed and a VG's public performance. But since they are not doing anything with the songs and era, we might as well get the new album. 

 

I wonder if Virgo's Groove will be remembered.
