Um no, it was definitely not the same in London. They didn’t hide thousands of seated tickets there.

Speaking purely from a strategic press angle, now would be the perfect time to drop the trailer for the visuals. Textbook distraction tactic. 

 

Team Bey has shown they'll do ish like that as and when it makes sense (Ivy Park axed only for Balmain to be announced the next day to flip the narrative). 

 

All in all, it's no biggie and is more tech glitch than indicative of diminished pull. It's a handful of dates (most of which are rescheduled) and she's certainly in line for a tonne of great press the second the NA leg starts.

Ch... Beyoncé's management is so unorganized. It's weird all her eras up until 4 were also so well-oiled. 

 

Even for low tickets, old Beyoncé would have performed. It was more than 50% sold out so I don't know if that's the reason. 

Canceling a show is kinda worse for PR than curtains so... you get upset fans and the press.  

 

They could always plaster the stats and show how monstrous the gross will be. A couple shows not selling out isn't a big deal if you're grossing $500m.

 

Could actually be a logistics/scheduling issue and they withheld 10k tickets bc they were uncertain.

Beyoncé's shows in the US are all in the 40k to 50k range. I'm thinking they were pushing for a higher attendance per show.

 

Her Pittsburgh date was capped at 44k attendance, while Taylor just did 70k+ at the same stadium. I'm thinking they were pushing for something closer to 60k maybe, but that should've been done earlier.

 

So it's not that they're selling out. I think they were just pushing for higher attendance for each date.

Please note to the haters that since the refunds for the show are automatic with no chance of reschedule or transfer, ticketmaster has an abundance of seats showing and hasn't taken it down yet. You can still purchase with an error. 

 

Real simple. We don't know the reason for cancellation, but it wasn't ticket sales in her main market. It could be something personal or legit with the stage transportation among other logistic issues. FWT had 3 stages that were in different cities on any given day.

Considering I paid close to $1200 to be in CR, that actually isn't bad. $500 was at the far back of the floor at my date.

It’s really not. It will be forgotten in a few days. She shouldn’t have booked there or a few places to begin with. 

We need visuals on friday or a trailer as damage control

I don't think that's it. Bey had 3 different stages for FWT and people were complaining about some of the date changes and calling lies over logistics then. 

 

Either something came up personally or it is a legit stage issue. Either way it was confirmed that 44,000 tickets were sold by an independent source, so there's no reason to cancel due to sales. Not in her home market.

Yeah those seem like great seats. Being on the floor is always better for any concert. It’s worth the extra hundreds

Thanks  Got the floor seats. Was gonna be in the nosebleeds for Pittsburgh so I’m not so mad anymore. 

She can only blame herself. You have to promote a tour… she has the worst team ever. I've been saying this for years.

Most of these dates will be sold out before show time regardless. But it's a mess. Let's hope other shows aren't mysteriously cancelled for "reasons" as well.

All of this! A lot of folks have said for a long time there is only so far one can go without proper promo. If she wants to continue to sell out stadiums then she needs to do a little more and give fans something to work with. Instagram photo spamming, doesn't do it. The fact that a year later and there is still no visuals, there was confusion during tour registration, dynamic pricing killed the hype, it's all a recipe for a mess. 

 

Beyonce being a perfectionist is why managing herself doesn't work. She controls the deadlines and that's why nothing is ever ready on time and comes too late.
