she’s probably retiring/going on a long hiatus in a jay-z kind of way after these albums come out and she’ll do multiple tours in the coming years to drain our pockets 

 

Renaissance will have its moment until Tour is done in fall 2023 

She’s clearly holding on to these visuals to stretch out the era as much as possible

 

I do not believe we’ll be seeing ACT 2 until after tour

One of my theories (that I have convinced myself of cuz there is nothing else to do) is that 

 

Renaissance Visuals and Act -ii (Rodeo) will drop at the same time.

Can someone tell me or link me to something official that makes mention of act II or iii being actual albums? Everything I’m reading says Renaissance is a 3 part project, that doesn’t make me think act II and iii are new albums.
 

Seems more like act II will be visuals that would help promote act iii, the tour, which we now know for a fact will happen in 2023.

"This three act project was recorded during the pandemic" means it's not a tour or she phrased it horribly if it is.

Wouldn't the visuals cannibalize the second album? Wouldn't really make sense

Here's my belief. Based on the facts we were served. 

 

My belief: act ii will be album (Rodeo - country themed) and act iii will be something else like a film or a documentary most likely. 

 

Why: 

 

1. The first time we were teased the new era was on Beyoncé's website when there was a page for B7 AND B8. Even Tidal tweeted what is B7... B8. So I believe it is two albums at least. The vogue interview also said *abundance* of music. 

 

2. The album booklet says she recorded this three part project during the years in lockdown. Most people understand this to mean only music! And it is more likely for her to say recorded during lockdown if it's music, especially when she was still filming some visuals till a couple weeks ago. 

 

3. We have heard from multiple sources but most importantly dream that "she will tell how personal" some music was to Beyoncé, especially Break My Soul. And we've heard other rumors about a documentary from bey - which is why I believe one project is a documentary - which would be mainly recorded during the lockdown phase itself.

 

4. I say actii Rodeo because like Renaissance, it has been a word and title she has been teasing for a long time. Many people had guessed Renaissance album title correctly cuz she was using the word even a year ago in an interview. Just like Rodeo has been teased. Plus, just like a "house" album, we also heard rumors for a "country" album. And both in theme with historically black genres that are now associated with white people. Rock as act iii was just a pure extension of this idea and we have had NO real teasing or hints for it.

 

5. Finally: if act ii and iii were just visuals and tour, it wouldn't say act i- Renaissance but say Renaissance act i. As the first part to the Renaissance album/project. And also a tour won't be recorded during lockdown.

IMO. it'd be very distracting dropping visuals for one set of music while releasing a whole other album sans visuals of its own. 
 

It needs to be one at a time for neatness. Ren visuals now. Act 2 dropping whenever it drops...ideally with visuals. if not then not this crazy wait. 

 

I also don't think it's entirely out of the question for her to be readying some kind of hybrid visual film that incorporates music from across the various "Acts".

 

I almost like this because she a) wouldn't need to do a video for every single song b) can double back to drop videos for songs that weren't featured and c) it'd be kind of "new" for her.

 

The only drawback is that it means we'd probably have to wait for all the music to be out and no one has time for that.

She cant even handle her music eras properly (messy rollout, messy vinyl shipping, etc), who would want to that collaboration to work?

Yeezy been their flagship celeb brand for a while.

 

I remember Bey (or someone in her team) revealing in an interview that the Adidas thing really is a partnership and that there will be a dedicated team (made up of both Parkwood people and Adidas) stationed at the Oregon HQ specifically for Ivy Park. 

 

Assuming a huge brand like Yeezy had same setup, it's possible they could redeploy the staff towards IVP after that's happened.
