Well she had a window with RENAISSANCE but never really took it, so it's basically about the fans now. Taylor just dropped and Drake is getting ready to drop (again). 

 

The album has had great longevity though and is her 3rd longest running album in the Top 10 (or at least Top 3) so that's enough to celebrate.

 

As for now it's just about the videos, they will definitely send the album back into the Top 5 and prolong it's life. I also know that they'll breathe new life into the songs.

 

People getting on Beyoncé for brand deals and what not, doesn't make sense because most musicians aren't making money off record sales. Taylor Swift can do without then because she's actually MOVING units, but I can see where Beyoncé might have to rely on them to an extent.

 

She took a deal out on the RENAISSANCE visuals for that reason. She can out them out while One of the streaming services cuts her a check. BIK wasn't a major success on Disney+, but I could see RENAISSANCE successfully drawing viewers.

a) I've been pretty much quiet ever since the Taylor drop, so I don't know who ur confusing me with, but I haven't said a word like this and didn't engage in that comparison.

 

b) I've been pretty consistent with calling out Bey and her team for being terrible regarding specific parts of their job (to the point where cbreezy rightfully points out I keep repeating myself), especially when it comes to making sure an era is fun for her actual consumers, which is her fans. The way they handled the vinyl situation was embarrassing. The way they handled BMS after it went to #1 was stupid. The way they are withholding the visuals is stupid. There u go.

 

c) And what do u want to do if I keep on posting this? Is that a threat? lol Block me for ur own peace babe, or join a Beyonce-Stanclub-only where u can discuss how amazing the Sex on Fire cover was for days or how great ST used to be and how Bey used to be everywhere, which made u all fall in love with her. Am i the only one who's not bothered so much by the lack of promo?

 

We know for sure that there're 2 more acts coming which is confirmed at this point. And the album is still charting consistently 

 

I need her to push for Cuff It to go #1 though

Also, don't know if I'm alone with this, but seeing her engaging so frequently in events with her super rich friends kinda irks me massively as a fan. Imho it shows her true colours. She's all into the Tiffany deal, the rich friends parties, events, etc.. But regarding her fans she's Ms Mystery. Yeah right. Snobby and elitist, that's what she is. If there's one thing I realized, it's that she's not humble whatsoever. That ship has sailed long time ago lol

I understand what you mean but I also get the feeling that for her, the way of showing her love to the fans is by keeping the bar high in terms of her music and her craft. She said on her last written letter when Ren came out that she will continue to give us her all/best and that, for her, takes time.

She also mentioned on Life Is But a Dream how the personal life of an artist shouldn't be important. That the voice and the music should be the connection between the artist and the fans.

 

Her luxurious life with several events with rich celebs and friends does not bother me at all as long as she keeps delivering. And she does, that's a fact.

Of course there are little things that could be done and it would make the fans happy but that's not her. She's an old lady at heart who really likes to mind her business and take her time.

 

I said it before. The only thing keeping her fans tuned in is the music. Had she dropped the ball on that department, she would have been reaaaaally over by now.

I wouldn't care for the parties she throws or so if she focuseed way more on the musical aspect of her career. There's so much interesting stuff to discuss if she shared that - insights on the writing process, insight on the development of Rennie, collaborating with new musicians, etc..  However what we get to see is her dropping an album, and then nothing anymore. And THEN u see her on these events which just doesn't feel right tbh.

We've always recognized and appreciated this about her and I know even the GP used to too (I remember my mother saying during the IASF era that she was the best in the business and had the "best people" around her - GP speak for a stellar team) but it's bordering on the pathological at this point xx. Other, bigger acts before her have maintained strict quality and creative control while also releasing more far more frequently and without leaning into Greta Garbo-like inaccessibility and exclusivity for leverage. I think the promotion for Cuff It should start on the tracking week starting November 4th. That’s the first without album drops and also the first week for 2023’s year-end chart. 

Beyoncé is not in snatched mode yet, you know it, I know it, we all do. We've seen her candids. It'll be a while before she really kicks things off. Y'all need to accept this and move on. Just save your money.

She has a successful business to run. Events in high society is a networking kinda thing.

 

You can't compare her with someone who devoted 24/7 to music career, Beyonce simply has other things to take care of.

I'm not upset about the lack of promo, I'm pretty used to that.

 

The lack of communication is bothersome though, and really doesn't build the hype anymore like it used to, and it really is only a disservice to her in the long run because people do lose interest.  I mean BMS has been out 18 weeks now, I truly could care less to see a visual now and I'm sure many people feel the same way.  The song is played out, it'll be a one and done watch, I'm sure.   The ITG teaser was released 11 weeks ago. 

I understand the constant rhetoric that she's going to do whatever she wants to do, but the window for the album is kinda over, and while it may not seem like a big deal, it definitely can have a big effect on her future releases.  Companies may not feel as comfortable investing millions and millions of dollars on a project when previous projects have had lukewarm responses, and the rollouts are subpar.  Of course we know the quality will be there 100%, but unfortunately interest will be way lessened just naturally due to the age of the music. 

 

It's whatever though, it's just confusing, it serves disinterest in your art.  I'm sure that's not truly the case, but that's what it looks like from this perspective, and maybe she just doesn't have a good understanding of the perspective of her consumer anymore.

It's the fact that she hasn't shown her face anywhere else during her current era for her current album and we're being told patience is a virtue after waiting like a third of a year since the era "started"
