I have not once created a thread with the aim to get Bey dragged. I don’t know where that came from but clearly that’s a YOU problem. I don’t even enter threads where Bey is getting dragged because I know I will lose my **** and be banned for months on end. My last ban came as a result of me defending Bey.

In another 3 weeks she'll cross 1M units. I hope she can end

 the year with another top 10 best seller because she almost never missed the year end list since DC days. 

 

 

I can't at everyone releasing in 2022-2023. The charts is gonna be super competitive and REN is in danger. Morgan, Harry, The Weekend, Taylor isn't going to leave the top 10 for the longest time and we possibly going to compete with Drake, Lil Baby, Christmas albums etc etc. Rihanna is probably going to release and Nicki too.

She had the summer all to herself which is more than most can ask for. Also, Q4 is usually packed because big names want to profit off Black friday and Xmas, so no surprise there

We don't agree often lol, but you're spitting FACTS. 

 

I'm generally more lenient on her, because I'd much prefer a slay visual product that she is able to engineer buzz around when the time is right (within reason) rather than subpar output from her to satisfy an (understandable) timeline. I also made peace a while ago with the fact that her work capacity looks different to what it once was. Things haven't been the same since the twins. We're in a new normal. 

 

BUT...she absolutely had the summer to herself. And while she did dominate social media and has squeezed out two hits against the odds, she's about to have her wig tossed from all directions from other big releases and it will be pretty unrelenting til the end-ish of the year. And that is frustrating. Even if the there was a more coordinated push in Sept / Early Oct, she'd have easily cleared the following benchmarks by now:

 

* Platinum (this is coming in a few weeks anyway)

* Cuff It = US top 10 (still possible, but now looking like more of a long haul...possibly 2023)

* Visual Effect: with the spotlight to herself and the charts being quiet, releasing the visual album even a few weeks ago would have seen a handful of songs shoot up the Hot 100. 

 

I'm definitely not doom and gloom about it, as she's in a spot where she's still positioned to get a boost with anything she announces/drops in the coming weeks. But the scale may not be what it could have been. E.g. album rockets to #2 or #3 instead of back to #1. Or Cuff It climbs to new peak of #11 instead of #5. It's those little things that will be irritating. 

 

Some scoffed when I said this before, but competition for the spotlight and attention on the public's newsfeeds is very much a thing. A one at a time thing. Because much like Bey had summer to herself, it's Taylor's turn now. To a lesser degree Lil Baby too. Jan/Feb will be all about RIhanna. Why operate in a crowded space when you don't have to?! Ugh.

 

I'd say Bey's next clean window (once the big album bombs have gone and dodging the Xmas bullet) will be early - mid Nov. Outside of that, she may actually be better off holding ish til next year.

For her sake, whoever her partner is for the visuals needs to go ALL-OUT with their marketing spend. 

 

She has the hype, but the delay will require they do more on top of that to really make sure EVERYONE sees it.
