Is Ed Sheeran OVER?

Featured Replies

Personally, I think he's over and he's going to flop hard from here on out.

And lord I hope I am correct.

Thoughts?

No, he's a boring white mediocre male artist. Gp loves that. He'll keep having some moderate success, unfortunately.

He will remain a touring force. But his commercial success in terms of album sales has been over for awhile now tbh.

Let us pray and hopefully he takes that mop headed friend of his, Taylor, with him

Yes. His numbers has already declined sharply even before the Israel fiasco.

"The A-Team" and "Don't" were the last 2 songs of his that I liked. I have not cared for anything he did since then.

He was way past his peak anyway. But he will have a touring career for a while yet.

the straights love to play him at their weddings so never underestimate an ugly straight white male pushing out birther music tbh busted

He's had flops on par with 143 commercially. But touring wise he might take a hit?

He's new music has been over. His past hits? They will still be streamed and remembered simply because of how massive he was

Touring? Probably will decline for next tour

imagine being this obsessed, seek help and touch grass

OT: yes, but it's his own fault

Exactly. He already peaked and is just doing it for fun now...well maybe not anymore.

Yep, but the GP were already bored of him by the time Subtract came out.

Autumn Variations and Play just solidified his decline even further, and now all this stuff with Israel.

There was a point when I thought we were stuck with him and couldn't see light at the end of the tunnel, but now look. clap3

The same will happen with Taylor Swift eventually, and it can't come soon enough.

I think he's now got a permanent mark on his reputation (which he seems to care a lot about), but I do think anyone who believes that this will truly undo him in the way it probably deserves to is being optimistic.

He'll be fine. In a just world such a gross capitulation to these people would be a career ender, but we're not in that world yet.

His core fanbase and casual listeners don't care about this controversy, he'll be fine
