I was born and lived 25 years in Knoxville, just 45 minutes from where she was born. I went to Dollywood all the time. Got books from the Imagination Library. She was a hero to us in East Tennessee. A godsend. An angel walking the earth. I'm shattered. Rest in peace legend.

People can make threads all day long about how her album and single sales decline but her touring has remained not only consistently strong, but has actually been stronger post-album and single sales peak than it was during.

This whole era was. This is my favorite song of hers, but the album as a whole is great and the tour was also very well done. I wish she would show this kind of spark for something again. B2B felt like the moment she really figured out what her thing was and then she for some reason just never did it again.

See I think the opposite. I think Survivor and Destiny Fulfilled are much better than Writings on the Wall and ESPECIALLY their first album. Better production, better songwriting, better vocals, more variety.

Maybe when everything changed hands she or her team were asked what they wanted to be there. IGTTYAS has been out for decades sure but out of print and unavailable on streaming for ages.

I mean not really? Non-sexual nudity is not harmful to children. I agree they shouldn't see sex (and really don't in public) and I'd never debate otherwise, but just a general naked person minding their business and not doing anything lewd? That's quite common in most of the world because the human body is not an inherently sexual thing and nudity shouldn't be sexualized unless it has to do with sex. Non-sexual public nudity is not really a crime nor a problem in many, many places.

Nobody is saying you have to support. We are saying that if you suggest that gay people are out having sex in front of children at pride parades like the Republicans have been trying to convince the world they are for decades, or that this subject is somehow a facet of only the gay community, or that it's something we must reckon with, then you're no better than a MAGA homophobe.

This never happens anywhere that a child has access to by the way. If there's nudity or sex happening at pride it is always in locations that children, families, and anyone who does not wish to see that either cannot access period or have to make a conscious decision to access. Any suggestion or belief otherwise is just a regurgitation of a conservative talking point that you either fell for or know is untrue but are peddling anyway.

"Don't give me a history lesson" Well, the answer to the question you asked is a historical reason i'm afraid and you're kind of delusional if you think the reason cruising started in the first place is not still present in society today, especially as queer rights have taken a step backward.
