She was never going to win it, but that has nothing to do with TLOAS or Encore. Her competition is just stronger. As stated above, LBN and The Debut are the ones who're certainly leading the pack. I always hate Oscar season on this site because very few of you have any concept how the Oscars or even the film industry in general works and yet talk about it as if you're an expert.

Because people who edit Wikipedia full time can be extremely particular about formatting and the way articles are structured (and the guidelines for editing it are extremely complex in a way a lot of people don't realize) and I'll bet whoever flagged this believes that Encore should be discussed in a separate sub-topic within the main article rather than delineating it as an alternate cover in the information overview section.

is this gonna start a trend of deluxe versions of albums, all getting their own separate scores? I don't recall this happening for the Ariana deluxes and such. I guess the nature of deluxes has changed and they are presented to us now as their own little mini-eras within an era, but it seems weird to start doing completely separate reviews for what amounts to some left overs or tack ons to an already existing album.

Yes it matters. This is the Confessions II album/era thread. There's ample other places to have conversations about hating Taylor, so we don't need to make this another one. Some of us would love a space to discuss Madonna and Confessions II without all the extraneous stuff. It really sucks the life and energy out of what should be a discussion about our fave's renaissance.
