YES!! Everyone should be attached to their phones like zombies watching TikToks all day. If you don't do that you are a FAKE and a FRAUD.

I guess it can be depending on the person, especially certain men who are trying to cultivate an image, but it's silly to think of someone who's a big book fan or reader being accused of being performative for doing something they enjoy while they go outside and touch grass.

Only those who read while they stand in public transport 'cause all the seats are taken. Like, girl, it can't be THAT good what you're reading. Also, if you read in public without wearing noise-cancelling headphones or having your lips or face move in some way, are you even reading?

When I was in London, I read a lot on the Tube. It was a nice escape and half the stations don't have 4g/5g coverage

I can just tell you find pride in being illiterate.
