She is an excellent writer, good singer and can play multiple instruments. A talentless person could not make albums like Red or Folklore. It feels like there isn't much hype but I don't know if that's just my bubble. Harry Potter is still hugely popular unfortunately (I teach kids and a lot of them are just getting into it). I think its success will depend on if it's good or not. Fantastic Beasts was bad and ended up being a flop. Hogwarts Legacy was good and smashed.

Even in China, it can vary a lot but I think younger people are generally accepting but almost every Chinese queer person I know isn't out to their parents even in Hong Kong which is generally much more socially progressive. Whilst, it's not the worst place to be gay, the Chinese government is generally not supportive under the guise of family values and restricts media content showing gay people (BL is still hugely popular despite this). Shanghai and Hong Kong pride are also no longer a thing sadly. That being said, I went to a gay club in Guangzhou and it was awesome. Shenzhen sucked though!
