I agree with all this. Plus, people seem to forget 2 things: the music industry has changed completely (especially the rap/hip-hop side of things). We are talking about someone who has been in the game for almost 40 years. Maybe her taste just isn't really phuckin' with the new kids? She has the right to not feel inspired at all. And last but not least, some of y'all forgot Mimi is approaching 60. Yeah, we have other big stars that are older than her and still showing innovation, but artists/people are different and we have to accept it. Not everyone and their mindset will age the same. And clearly she is struggling with her health as well. She doesn't need to prove anything to anyone anymore. She's a legend and no one can take it away from her. Mother has worked her butt off and has given us one of the best discographies among the MPGs....
