Is Camila's 'C,XOXO' actually good?

Featured Replies

The album has its flaws for example all the random stupid Drake songs & that random fan speaking song .

It was the lead single that killed the era there was a little Hype for the era at first but it went downhill quickly .

I think it's her second best album after her debut album.

Given that the entire album is barely scraping 200k streams daily I'd say even the ones defending it aren't bothering to press play

No, it's not a good album, and I think this narrative about it being 'ahead of its time' it's just a personal opinion from a group of certain people on Internet, not something really impactful outside of Stan Twitter.

It's an album that has quite a presence because of how controversial it was and musically it's forgettable. It doesn't have a moment when you say: 'Wow this songs are good!!!' No, it's just a bunch of songs trying to reheat things we already hear before and at the end it's zero memorable, I can't say any song in this record should be considered something like a classic or 'hidden gem' and the autotune feels so akward in her.

Don't get me wrong but Camila has never had a unique style or reference visually in the industry despite her Debut Era.

Yes but it abuses of interludes, we could've gotten the scraps with a solid more sound

stop trying to push this, omg

The world has collectively chosen NOT to listen to it

Yes it is and sounds even better without dumb Twitter gays spreading a hate bandwagon and comparing it to Brat (when it sounds nothing like it).

The way the era was handled was a mess though. The shift in image and sound felt way too abrupt and the timing couldn't be worse (even with the Drake feature when he was the most hated artist in the world at the time). It truly deserved a second chance and would've had a better reception if came out later with a different approach in marketing

the fact that it's questionable should be your answer

Not the same 3 Camillizers voting downthumbs, stop giving us the reason about that mid record

Yes lol. It's not mindblowing but it's well-written and fun to listen to. I like that it has a cohesive concept too, and I think if you've ever been to Miami you get the vibe. People do way too much on Camila.

No it's not

Yall are annoying me trying to justify that cosplay album, she simply doesnt have IT to make a good album with that concept.

It's not amazing but it has some great tracks and overall it was ahead of its time. Probably would've gotten more attention if it came out a year later.
