She ain't touring any time soon. She's aware she is not the streaming force and the popstar she used to be, Love On was a wake-up call for her because for a while she thought she was still the hit-maker she was in 2016-2020 . She has to perform and renew her fanbase if she wants a hit, I know she will say in public that she doesn't care but she does. She believed a lot in Single Soon and she got really frustrated that it wasn't well-received and that Love On was her biggest flop. Sel needs to do festivals, she has the voice for good DJ tracks, she recorded some electronic stuff recently and she needs to take advantage of the new House-Techno wave and get a hit. Her own management rejected 'That's Alright' because they thought it was 'too far' of Selena's audience as they thought her public wouldn't connect with a festival song

Some stuff were moving at the beginning of the year, she recorded really cool stuff. However, I don't see those tracks coming out any time soon

what happened to the SB follow up she was teasing? Scrapped or some tracks made it to the next project?

they are marketing the album as an electronic album with bangers so that would probably have hits + her dead petz follow up tracks that she wanted to do She kinda tried to do a little of that with her incorporating a choreographer to her music videos after the Doctor backlash

So the 'dead pets-alike' follow up to SB got scrapped? or any of these songs are seeing the light of the day in the new album?

There was a significant amount of weeks when this event tickets went out for sale and when this started getting advertised in her profiles

Benny blanco is out here listing his BOOK EVENT on selena's artist pages like it's a tour stop Benny blanco has a book event to present his writing "F*ck Failure" with selena on 9/18 at webster hall. It wasn't moving much for a while as the $1200 tickets were getting sold out until a few days ago, when the event started showing up under SELENA'S name on ticketing/tour aggregators. it's filed as a Selena Gomez tour date on Ticketmaster, Vivid Seats, Bandsintown, and since those are the same feeds that power the "upcoming shows" widgets on Spotify/Apple Music/Tidal artist pages, anyone scrolling selena's profile for tour news is going to see this pop up looking exactly like a concert listing. The actual event, for anyone who hasn't seen it, is benny and selena doing "an intimate conversation" about their careers and embracing failure, with $25 from each of them going to the Rare Impact Fund per ticket, plus a copy of the book. The event doesn't even show that is a talk in those music platforms , so I see this happening
