Yes but this isn't a surprise actually, last time USA was spawning main pop girls was probably the late 00s & early 10s with Katy, Gaga, Kesha, Taylor, Miley, Demi, Selena and Ariana. In the late 10s we have Billie but she was more an indie/alt type of artist (like Lana or Lorde) than a pop star. In the 20s well... Doja? during 2020, Olivia in 2021 and then you have to wait until 2024 to see Sabrina and Chappell having a moment. So... US still have some Pop Stars but it seems Pop doesn't stick at the same way it was before.

I feel like she always benefited from all that was happening in her life during that time, it boosted her career once again becoming a Touring Force with the 'LMYNL Tour'. She has been always since 'Hips Don't Lie' and 'Waka Waka' a big face into the worldwide population so she was def going back to sing at 'Zootopia' and the 'World Cup'. Anyways, back to the OP I feel people are just not clicking because that time of 2022-2024 it's already over, maybe her team is still trying to push her into release more songs to see if they stick but it seems they are more worried about her touring.
