Disco was cute and very welcome after Golden Shower but Confessions II ate her up like it's the breakfast after a night of drugs and you're missing electrolytes.

Confessions II for all. We haven't had such a bold pop album in ages.

A true return to form.

Magic is the only good song on DISCO, so here's your answer.

Love Kylie and DISCO is a cute album but c'mon rip

Disco went triple platinum in my house when it came out clap3 CII has a bit of an unfair advantage since it's new and more relevant to the current soundscape.

Generally, between the 2 different forms of throwback dance music that have been trendy this decade (disco/funk, 70s disco vibes vs. disco/house, more overtly drag ball inspired) I infinitely prefer the funk albums. I'm a bit disillusioned with all of the yass/slay/mother pandering by artists lately

Confessions 2 is an album only Madonna could make. It's deeply personal, and yet also inspects the social climate, and what's happening with humanity as a whole while also being both experimental and fun musically. A triumph! bird

To be fair, I don't know the entire Disco album, but I know a few songs, and generally enjoy Kylie as well. But I think Madonna goes to a level beyond what Kylie has yet to access.

shouldnt CII be getting paired with Tension II?

Disco is pretty amazing actually but something about her vocals put me off. I think it's because she recorded them from her house due to the lockdown and then sent them to be engineered and maybe elements got lost in between, or some sort of file thing, idk exactly how any of this works, but they really fell off. and that's a major detriment for me so I barely hear it even though I can appreciate what it's meant to be and represent

C2 is just on a whole other level, it's also among Madonna's very best albums

Please don't make this a space to hate on disco, it was still an amazingly curated record from a pop diva like Kylie at this stage of her career. And Say Something is both a career highlight and as good as the top tier material on Confessions II, Miss a Thing or quite a few others too tbfh

I read she learned how to do her own vocal production.

Kylie Minogue's producers have said the 55-year-old is "producing vocals better than them", hailing her as "the queen of the remote vocals".

Kylie: 6 vs Madonna: 11

Both are great returns to form, but CII borders on peerless

school is in session

Its a tie for me, but Disco has been an album I recall going to so much until a few years ago, so I voted for that. I prefer the beginning of Disco to the beginning of Confessions II whereas I prefer the latter half of Confessions II over Disco.

It was so hard to vote against Dance Floor Darling, though.
